Is this a prime example of Paratici lining up multiple players for the same position? I think we are going to see alot of players nearly signed only for us to then sign someone else and the other deals not go through.

Not just Paratici, the usual agents drumming up interest. Add the social media sources hard to say what's real or not until its done.

Especially with Perisic admitting that he'd agreed to sign for us before the NLD, this does seem a case of either being agent driven to raise his profile/availability or a useful distraction story for the club
