Keep/Sell - who?

Sell at any price:
Gollini (end the loan early)
Tanganga
Rodon
Ndombele
Alli
Lo Celso

None them have the necessary ability AND motivation. We need to do a proper clearout to complete the rebuilding.

I wouldn't miss Doherty or Højbjerg either if we were able to replace them with someone better (which shouldn't be too hard).

I can't really argue with that, except maybe a loan for Tanganga. I think there is a good player in there somewhere.

I'd add Rodon to that.
There is a premier League player in there - probably a Palace/Saudi Sportswashing Machine level one.
Loan somewhere like that and they'll buy him if he's that level or we can keep him if he does a Rose/Walker. But without solid game time he can't really tell.

3 english players there. Not sure how our homegrown quota looks these days.

We have Skipp, Winks, Sessegnon, Kane.

We lose Tanganga and Alli, but should be able to find a new GK and CB as backups that count as homegrown. Maybe even a RB. Not filling the entire 25 man squad isn't a massive issue anyway.

Thought I'd do a revised version of this list now.

This was my list per November 26th 2021:

Sell:
Winks
Sanchez
Doherty
Dier
Sessegnon
Lo Celso
N'Dombele
Davies
Rodon
Dele
Kane
Bergwijn
Lucas
Clarke

Keep:
Lloris (would happily extent his contract)
Reguilon
Romero
Højbjerg
Son
Gil
Royal
Gollini
Tanganga
Skipp

The list today, May 26th, exactly half a year later:

Sell:
Winks
Sanchez (would be happy with him as squad backup though)
Lo Celso
N'Dombele
Rodon
Dele - already sold
Lucas
Clarke
Reguilon
Gollini
Tanganga

Keep:
Doherty
Dier
Sessegnon
Davies
Kane
Bergwijn
Lloris
Romero
Højbjerg
Son
Gil
Royal
Skipp

So, for me, these guys have under Conte been able to move from "sell" to "keep" - Doherty, Dier, Sessegnon, Davies, Kane, Bergwijn.
While these have moved the other way - Reguilon, Gollini, Tanganga.

Keep in mind, I only wanted to sell Kane because of all the gonad*s surrounding him at the start of the season. The prospect of getting Conte onboard, getting CL football and him potentially signing a new contract completely changes that outlook, of course. :)

Anyway - Dier has had a superb season, he's been really good. So max props to him! Doherty massively stepped up as well, I hope we keep him. Sessegnon, while I'm still skeptical, he's young, and we can definitely work with him. Davies has been immense too, obviously. I really like Bergwijn, but it does seem like he's going, unfortunately. I wonder why Conte hasn't used him more. He's looked so lively when coming on.

Reguilon has got to be the most disappointing one for me. He just hasn't stepped up, and looks nowhere near the player he looked when he first joined.

Skipp/Winks could be an interesting midfield two.

Winks in a team challenging for a spot in the top 3? I like your optimism!!

We'd need to bring in 5 hg players for cl to have a full squad. Might be expensive.

Modifications on you list

Added to sell list -> Bergwijn, we will get money, he wants game time, Conte really only sees him in that 2nd striker role (doesn't trust him anywhere else), you also forgot CCV
Off the sell list -> Lucas, I just don't see us selling both Bergwijn & Lucas, Lucas is more flexible, happier to be on bench and Conte is willing to use him more.
Optional list -> Royal, Sanchez, both could stay, both could go for the right offer and if we have a replacement lined up.

Reality (what I do think we will get done) -> CCV, Lo Celso, Bergwijn, Winks, Reguilon, Rodon, there will be a market for them, Gollini is simply a release/return loan

Its hard to say.. like Davies. I have said that hes not a top 15 team player.. but now… I think he has been good. Gill can easy be one of the best atacking mid players in the World in 2 years.
Its good that we have 2 of the best in the World that will make the call

One thing i'd say is that we seem to have an amazing atmosphere in the dressing room. Bringing in too many new players could create a schism if a couple don't get along.

Well thankfully we dealt with half that issue in Jan with Ndombele and Lo Celso who will be off in summer to make room.

Winks and Reggie likely to be gone for sure along with Stevie.

Reggie and winks seem fantastic for the atmosphere as does golini. They might not be the required level and need to be moved on which is fair enough.

My worry (and most likely unfounded) is we bring in 6 or 7 players. That might not get on that well with the rest of the squad.

Don't get me wrong, we need to bring in players. Just thinking out loud.

It's definitely a risk with such a number of changes, but in most working environments there are probably people who don't particularly get on, but manage to rub along. Plus of course schisms are less likely, or likely to be less evident, if the team is doing well, as good results will breed a positive atmosphere anyway. You could also flip it the other way and say without a bit of a shake-out, long-standing niggles or grudges are more likely to resurface if/when things are going badly (which of course won't happen!).
Didn't either Conte or Paratici say something about bringing in the 'right' kind of player - 'right' as in as in their personality, as much as their footballing attributes? We just have to hope they get it right on both counts.

It's a valid concern. As it's integrating quite a few players at the same time, some first choice I assume, some more as squad players.

Conte preseason, he has shown an ability to get players integrated quickly. General positive mood around the place and the no nonsense approach to just about everything Conte demands should be a good place to come in for a good and ambitious player.

I think it's a concern, but definitely a risk worth taking.

Get rid of

Golinni
Royale
Reggie
Sanchez (if we can find a better upgrade)
Winks
Bergjwin
Lucas
Lo Celso
Ndombele
Clarke
Rodon

Does anyone have an idea of what Spurs are likely to raise from players sales? I tried to put together a list of players likely to go, but don’t have much of an idea of what is reasonable to expect to get for them.

Dele - 20, potentially rising to 40 is what I think I remember reading

Lo Celso - 15, rising to 21

Winks - 25 wanted by Tottenham, settle for?

CCV - 6

Ndombele - ? (Think Levy will have to accept getting rinsed here, again)

Royal -?

Reggie - ?

Berwjwin -? (I would prefer to keep, but he wants game time apparently)

Lucas - ? (I can see Levy wanting to cash in)

Clarke - ?

Tanganga - ?

Rodon - ?

Gil - ?

I would prefer the last 3 were kept and loaned out, in the hopes their value might increase.
