Everton

Not sure they can even buy a result as they did against Wimbledon way back when when they were last in relegation danger (4-2 win last day of the season I think).

And by 'buy a result' I mean just that.

Wasn't the allegation against Hans Segars and it was an Asian betting syndicate that paid him rather than Everton? To be fair, he could do nothing about the first two goals (a pen and a Barry Horne worldie) but he was very suspect on the winner.

Alli was ordering shisa multiple times a day during the lockdown from my mates company. Not the actions of a top level athlete.

“Shisa is a traditional Ryukyuan cultural artifact and decoration derived from Chinese guardian lions, often seen in similar pairs, resembling a cross between a lion and a dog, from Okinawan mythology. In magic typology, they are sometimes also classified as gargoyle beasts.”

Getting in a couple a day sounds like he has somewhat lost the plot, whilst most other players were getting in hookers at least it shows he’s quite cultured no? ;)

Didn't watch the game yesterday, but losing like that, having gone ahead, such an important game, not even being able to come out with a draw. This was a chance to turn a corner and they have most definitely not.

Teams ahead of them finding some form, Burnley looking likely to do a Burnley and fight their way out of relegation places.

Doesn't look good. Still time to turn it around, but if I was an Everton fan I'd be worried.

Would be completely pointless taking him off us then wouldn’t it? They could have played him every game till the end of the season to avoid relegation and that would have saved them more cash than the 20 game transfer clause.
Possibly, but when they took him off us the brickshow in Ukraine hadn’t kicked off…. It was an idea though

Being reported that Everton want to sell Alli. How has he fallen so far? Not worked out for him at multiple clubs under numerous managers.

They have so many average players that I cannot believe you wouldn't give him a start in place of someone like Awobi!! But then again, they are in a dog fight and seem to just be picking those hardworking players to get them out of trouble.

The one thing Awobi will do is work hard on the pitch, he was playing at full back at times on Sunday and put a lot of effort in, can you say the same of Dele?

He will get a PL move as a club will take a risk on him, but that will be the last chance before a drop into the Champ

Lampard seems like a pretty decent guy - hopefully he'll take him aside and tell him to go abroad.
He needs a fresh slate and the reduced spotlight on him to stand a chance I think.
Spanish midtable where he can get away with a mixture of coasting and brilliance - that might get his groove back overtime.

You could someone coming up taking a punt I guess.

Have you watched Spanish football? They work hard.

Isn't he mates with Jody Morris and all that lot?

To be honest, not for a few years. So I might be being ignorant here.
I was thinking along the lines of GLC, who seems to have thrived at Villarreal. The style, pace and extra time you get might suit Dele.
When he was good he worked hard and smart to find space to play in. I wonder if Spain midtable would allow that to happen again.

So we’ll now have to hear what a managerial genius fat, smug Frank is.
They are in a worse position than when he arrived. He’s made them worse.
