***OMT Tottenham Hotspur vs The Worlds Biggest Ashthmatics ***

KLOPP: “I don’t like this kind of football but that is my problem. I cannot coach it. I respect what they do with world-class players but I cannot coach that.”

Dear Jurgen,
How are you, other than bitter? I used to think you were a decent chap, but then you spewed up some bile because Spurs did not roll over for you and you only scored from a jammy deflection. It's a shame the TV people made this the late game so you couldn't complain about a short turn around. Quick question, as you are such a genius. How would you coach a team with Royal/Sess/Hjoberg and a bench with three academy players on it? And one more thing, hopefully you won't let it slip and end up with only the Carabao Cup to show for your efforts, you ugly Cnut.
our Xg was higher than theirs too

Because we didn’t roll over and die for them.

He also didn’t like the way we played football? Which is really odd as it’s how he played against us in the CL final.

Bloke is a bad winner, a bad loser and can’t even draw without being a childish numpty.
We had Pep whinging about the exact same thing when we beat them. Funny, I bet Pep didn’t mind us doing that last night just like Klopp didn’t mind it when we did it to City:D….

I actually heard a Liverpool fan (Cnut) say last night that he wished Glenn Hoddle had died from his heart attack so he couldn’t comment on their games any more …. Wow
I did have a kinda scrap with fella afterwards and my mates didn’t know what was going on but it was just uncalled for and bang out of order

I hope you kicked the fudge out of him

I was tempted to look up Hoddle’s history to fill the obvious gap in my knowledge as to when he had played for Liverpool, such was his fawning over them last night.
But that aside - that was a disgusting thing to say, bloke should be ashamed of himself, but most probably isn’t.

If I’m honest I still don’t think we’ll make Top 4 but the team have done well this season in difficult times. We kind of had to win yesterday but that’s a very demanding ask at a title chasing Liverpool. The change of manager hurt us a lot, Conte from the start and we’d be so comfortable in the Top Four I reckon.

Also think we’ve been unlucky with scheduling and Arsenal the opposite. Their game away at Leeds 100% should have been called off. They then get the NLD called off for reasons Leeds didn’t even push for (?) despite being much less emaciated than Leeds with far fewer Covid cases. Bielsa as a decent man just wanted to play it.

Chelsea are a shambles but have Watford at home to play and only need three more points to clear us. If the season was two more games longer or they had a finish simply without that game (or v Norwich) we’d comfortably overtake them.

But anyway, at least this season we have started taking some measure of revenge for the Champions League final defeat. Hopefully it continues and becomes something akin to our constant beating of Leicester since they pipped us to the title (I know the two teams are very different in terms of quality).

I think us under Conte are a better team than Arsenal, though there isn’t much in it, even if they finish above us in the table. I hope Conte stays and builds and think he will and next season we will make Top 4 with Chelsea falling away, Arsenal struggling to balance two big competitions and United rebuilding and having so many doubts around them and their squad. Better to have a wider perspective on things whatever happens over the closing weeks of the season.
That's a good analysis of our competitor's, next season there's good potential to step up as others find a path.

True. Starting a physical fight with someone who has been revoltingly rude about a football commentator whom you respect is definitely uncalled for.

I hope that you didn’t kick the fudge out of him.
I’ll be honest … I grabbed him by his shirt and kinda pulled him over the table and was gonna hit him when my mates grabbed me

Glenn is a weasel. It’s embarrassing for me that I used hold him in such high regard. Now he is just a one time Chelsea manager in my eyes.
He really doesn't seem to have a lot of time for us, maybe bitter with us for sacking him for being a terrible manager

Which is all understandable. Personally, I wouldn’t even bother glaring at a Scouser to defend Hoddle’s honour. His comments about the disabled and his faith healer nonsense meant I had very little time for him when he rocked up at Spurs with a stolen Dean Richards, and his tenure made me like him even less.

Klopp had the look at the final whistle and in the interview of someone that knew the title dream had died. (Context)

He'd been complimentary of the way we played (and were going to play) before the game. Afterwards he's being honest but not disrespectful (the opposite). As he noted before the game he knows we have to play that way and he knew that way put the game at risk for Liverpool. We succeeded (literally up to a point) with a game tactic/game plan he doesn't like, and on the face of it I'd prefer us to play like Liverpool every week, just like he does.
