All the different camera angles make it like one of those composites you see of the Super 8 footage from Deeley Plaza. Sheesh, it's just a passable free kick past a wonky wall and dodgy keeper...in the MLS!

Mate, have you watched Spurs at all in the last 5 years?

ANY freekick that scores will do for me

You always laugh at people who "have" to be held back when you know if you just let him at it, it would be handbags at best.

Football thinking

Where do you post thoughts like making an observation that Arteta is as important to Arsenal than RVP is? If he is fit, the scum's results are a lot better than when he is out. Arteta makes the side tick and was a decent replacement for Fabregas, even if not to the same level clearly.

So football observations in general about players without necessarily starting a new thread each time. :/

Since Nasri and Fabregas left van Persie pretty much hasn't been injured. So while results did drop when Arteta was injured you have no comparison to base your statement on based only on results.

Arsenal mania?

Arsenal mania?

In which case the whole Liverpool thread belongs on RAWK?

There should be a thread where we can discuss the merits of other team's players, surely? After all, if Ricky Lambert is having fantastic season, should we open new thread for him? And then for another player who is playing well? Etc

Which would be fine, if we had a different section with other football teams news in.

But we don't. So it's fine to make threads here.

And if Arsenal play brick because Arteta is out, which club benefits? Us!

In the same way that there is a thread about Van Persie's contract too, why of this is a thread only directing relating to Spurs?

Plus may as well cut out the live scores thread, the transfer news for other teams too?

Exactly. This isn't some massive board with tens of thousands of members posting every day. I don't see the problem with a couple of general football or other team threads.

I think Song is more important to them than Arteta. And Vermaelen is more important also.

and if rvp goes i can't see song signing a new contract, so he'll only have one year left in next summers window.

Add to that walcott currently having only one year left...

Things may get tricky if Arsenal start letting them leave on frees..

Things are always apparently getting tricky for Arsenal, every season we hear it.

Indeed we do, and every season they pull it out of the bag.

There is no denying though every season for the last 5 or 6 they seem to be getting incrementally worse.

Their luck has to run out at some point!
