Sick sick world what is wrong with people

Seems a bit cheap for a chief executive of a charity.

It is better to give your own time directly rather than money.

Sickening !!

The mother of Baby P has been released from prison.

Tracey Connolly was jailed in 2009 after admitting causing or allowing the death of her son Peter at their home in Tottenham, north London, in 2007.

Known publicly as Baby P, the 17-month-old suffered more than 50 injuries, including a broken back.

Justice Secretary Dominic Raab, who had asked the Parole Board to reconsider its decision to free her, for a second time described Connelly as "pure evil".

In March, he referred to Connolly in the same way after the Parole Board decided she was suitable for release, having rejected three previous bids in 2015, 2017 and 2019. The board heard she was considered to be at "low risk of committing a further offence" and that probation officers and prison officials supported the plan.

She was first released on licence in 2013, but was recalled to prison in 2015 for breaching her parole conditions.

A Parole Board spokesman said in a statement: "Following the reconsideration application from the secretary of state, a judge has ruled that the decision made by independent Parole Board members to release was not irrational, as stated in the reconsideration application, and the original decision is upheld."

Connelly will be subject to restrictions in terms of where she goes and who she contacts. She has more than 20 licence conditions.

They include living at a specified address - initially a bail hostel - as well as being supervised by probation, wearing an electronic tag, adhering to a curfew and having to disclose her relationships.

Her use of the internet and phone will be monitored, and she has been told she cannot go to certain places to "avoid contact with victims and to protect children".

Everybody in the criminal justice system comes out of this exemplary case study well except for Dominic Raab, who is indeed sickening, and would be as suitable a caretaker PM as a Scooby Doo villain is fit to be caretaker of an abandoned fairground.

I despair at this world !!

A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a nine-year-old girl was fatally stabbed in a town centre.

Lillia Valutyte was found with a stab wound in Fountain Lane in Boston, Lincolnshire, on Thursday

Police said the man was arrested in the Boston Central Park area at about 14:45 BST.

They said his arrest followed "a combination of intelligence and information supplied by several members of the public".

The force added: "We are not looking for anyone else in connection with this incident."

Lillia had reportedly been playing with a hula hoop with her younger sister on the street and a toy pram was left at the scene, according to locals.

ReLiGiOn Of PeAcE

Where's the emote for putting one's tongue behind one's bottom lip?

I mean its a difficult one on here to discuss as in another thread people seemed to state that it was ok to believe homosexuality was wrong because who are we to question a belief system. But not you have an entire country coming out and saying this was Devine Retribution, I mean what???

Thats like Italy coming out in 2022 saying Jesus got what he deserved........haha ridiculous that anyone can continue to defend any of the acts and ridiculous harmful beliefs that are shrouded under the name of "religion"

It came from their foreign minister so he speaks on behalf of a country TBH. I would expect condemnation of any attack like this regardless
