Spurs Brentford OMT

It's apparent that teams have sussed out how to play against us in this formation. Needs changing up.

Yep. Don't commit too many forward and don't let Kane turn on halfway. Job done.

And if the wingbacks aren't up to it surely it's worth trying a 4231. Get an extra attacking player in there and try something different.

I blame that feckless 45 minutes solely on Conte. I have nothing against playing with wingbacks, but you need two capable players to do so. I fear this may end up the same as last week, at the movement Brentford look more likely to score. I would be tempted to go to a back 4 and bring on Steven Bergwijn

Bring in Reggie, Sessegnon is killing us. Or just send it, take Sessegnon off, bring in Bergwijn, go to 4 at the back, 4-2-3-1 and let the chips land where they may...

Has he ever changed from the 3 at the back once he has regularly played it? Seems to me he is abit like Mourinho and its this formation and this formation only.

The trouble with games like this is we don`t seem to have a plan B. Two halves like it against Brighton and now this. Its frustrating beyond belief sometimes. As soon as Bruno Fernandes hit the most crap penalty you will see all year you know the footballing gods are against us. Please lets hope Conte does something at half time to lift us

From what I have seen so far, he does not seem to have any sort of Plan B. Yes, we have limited players to have that Plan B, but sorry, he is paid the big bucks to make the most of what we currently have

Hey, ya gotsta love Contonio's optimism when he names Scarlett and White to the bench. As if those two are going to see Spurs lead by enough goals to get playing time.

They carry the same blame, no more, no less, but if any of the team will produce a moment of magic while playing brick it's those two.
Makes no sense to take them off

The problem is they don’t even get subbed off early for others to have enough time to impact the game. How do we know that the 10 - 15 games that Son and Kane have been brick this season that Lucas or Bergjwin couldn’t have come up with an important point winning goal or assist? I would much rather us take the risk and swap Kane and/or Son early for someone thats going to give us new ideas than risk a Brighton.

The sh#t end to the season started before last weekend when Liverpool, West Ham and Leicester progressed in their respective cups as they charge towards their inevitbale Cup Final wins, then carried on into the weekend, followed by some team looking like Chelsea playing Arsenal, then this morning.
Horrible end to the season incoming

Taking Kane and Son off, sure that is a good idea, especially as you will be still be waiting for Royale to whip in a cross from the flank

They don’t get subbed off because we don’t have any options on the bench anywhere near as good as them. I’m not sure why some people don’t understand that. Liverpool gave 4 forwards of very similar quality, hence why they can rotate and take them off when they choose. Dropping Kane or Son for Lucas or Bergwijn I’d like dropping King for Bassong

Fully expect a reaction for 5 minutes, followed by 43 minutes of trying 'Not to lose the game, if we cant win it' Only to concede a late goal

Maybe he should consider putting this formation on pause until next season when he actually brings in the right players to deploy, particularly at right wingback
