Putin & Russia

If he puts it on, knowing its intention, it’s still a suicide vest, irrespective of the trigger location.

The plan isn't to let him know it's intention. Tell him its a corset that will make him look better in the photoshoot. Then give the button to the head of MI6

But as monkeybarry points out, it would be more Project Pigeon than suicide.

Hopefully the missiles were the ones which Boris just gave Ukraine.

Ruble now back to levels seen pre war…

While the numbers may show it, it isn't actually back as such I'd say.
Trading volume will be massively down from what it used to be, they have new laws that no one can change their Roubles to dollars etc. and I think a lot of corporates (financial ones) had to give a huge chunk of theirs to the main bank as well.

Because of this, they can manage the rates very well (no one is buying the Rouble, or trading with it and such like) because Russia is the main market now.
It's a "look at us, we coped" aspect for Russian leadership, but that is just it - there is no real market for the Rouble currently.

Edit: Would be interesting to see just how much of their trade volume prior to the war was actually in Roubles to see what effectively has been lost.

Some rumours that a Russian command hub with a lot of officers has been destroyed.
Not verified by the reliable independent sources yet.

Still not much mention in this thread about how the French and Germans broke EU laws and sd weapons to the Russians. Wonder how the EU will punish them, I meant IF the EU will punish them.

I always thought the French were the problem in the EU but this conflict has shown Germany up, much of their wealth and progress has been built on an unhealthy relationship with a very unhealthy country.

Had always admired the Germans for their work ethic and their prudence. We have friends in Berlin, he is German the wife Polish. Lovely couple who are quite angry at their country proping up Russia.

Yes I know Britain has deals with Saudi Arabia before anyone gets a bout of whataboutism. But the EU is the judge and jury of everything that is decent.
