Troy Parrott

Would rather him get another year out on loan, preferably in the Championship. If MK Dons do get promoted it would probably suit all parties to extend the loan.
Send him to Boro so we can get Spence
Boro have a great guy in charge and he would learn loads

If Mk Dons get themselves promoted I think it would make sense he stay there. He is already settled at the club and has established himself as a starter. I just want him to go on the tour to South Korea so Conte has a look at him close up before he goes anywhere.

Of course
But I don’t think they will go up myself

Seems a bit “head in the clouds” that he’d come in a make a difference/ provide a genuine competitive option for next season. It’s awesome that he’s doing well at MK Dons and looks like another season there would do him well.

A youth prospect doing well in the lower leagues doesn’t mean we should stroll in to another season not being competitive, even if @Danishfurniturelover reckons he should be our third striker, don’t want to assume anyone’s opinion but feel that Conte / Paratici would agree.

Tbf i said the same about skipp in the summer.

I'll let him have a preseason with us and conte to judge.

Prefer him on loan if he won't get much game time though.
Skipp had done it at the top of the Championship, being a vital member of a team that won promotion and was clearly ready for the step up to the Premier League.
It's a much bigger jump from League 1 to Premier League. He's only likely to get game time in cup competitions and at the end of games.
Think it will help his development a lot more getting regular game time on loan. It can even be to January and see how he's getting on.

I don’t mean this as patronising as it’ll sound (he says patronisingly) but you really prefer to see unproven youth over established players don’t you? From recent memory you’ve advocated for Sessegnon, the young Scottish lad for Bologna and Troy.

Yes you are right I do.

I was at the game against Brighton and watched Reguilon and have watched on TV Bologna a few times and I think Hickey is better.

I do like Sessegnon as well. Was a big fan of Tanganga but don't think he is quite the future for us. Would rather him then Sanchez though.

I also thought walker-peters was better then Aurier. I recall advocating us to sign Bowen when he was in the championship with Hull. It is unfortunate that the Championship is in the UK because that league produces so many quality players.

On Parrott I would look at the skill, two footed, the finishing and work rate and say that other clubs particularly in Europe give talented young players a chance. The is a tendency to think we can't produce talent in this country. But actually the is so much in the championship and increasingly league 1. It is worth looking around.

100%
You can look at the stats for some of the players and see how good they are
Ake and Olise had great creative numbers for poor sides… no brainer
Bowen had outstanding goals scored numbers for a poor side and he wasn’t playing as a striker… no brainer
Johnson at forest this season has 15 goals from a wide role… and he is in his first senior season…. No brainer Again
Dele was the same

I think most likely a loan to the Championship would be the best option. A chance to take the next step, difficult to take that step playing only minutes here and there as a sub at the highest level.

However, definitely let Conte have a look at him during preseason. The kid has quality and a good physical presence as well I think. Don't think it's beyond reason thinking that him staying here would be the best move next season.

No where near ready, needs atleast 2 more loans imo, 1 in the championship and if he does well then 1 at a low level prem team.

Lewis-Potter at Hull is another one and Scott Twine at MK Dons looks like he could play at the very least a league up.

Even league 1 academies are producing good players now.
