OMT * Tottenham Hotspur v Brighton *

Did anyone see Arsenal vs Brighton? They did the same to the goons. I know everything is easy in hindsight and the team picks itself really but sometimes we should start with Moura and Bergwijn and bring on Son and Kulusevski as impact subs. As soon as Winks came on I knew we would lose. We just have to put up with these `sexy` performances. You more or less knew it would happen, its just so frustrating

Biggest problem today was that we got nothing from our WBs and in a Conte system, that’s a killer. We were like this a month or two ago when we had the same pair as today at WB

Sess in for Reggie is a no brainer. Conte needs to work out a way to get more attacking threat from RWB whether that’s Moura, Berg, Lavinier or whoever. I feel that’s our biggest threat to our hopes of finishing 4th

It would have no impact on him. It's not like going to the airport and taking a Ryanair flight. It'll be on a private jet where he can get a proper nights sleep.
Players jet off all the time to other countries, not a big deal in this day and age and I'd trust our medical department etc to know better than anyone on here if it's going to make a difference.

It's not just the impact on Harry. It's how it affects the mindset of other players. That misplaced arrogance of only having to turn up and win. The possibility that he is getting special treatment to do that, how that affects teammates. The mindset of the opposition - "Look at this arrogant prick, flying off to watch golf a few days before playing us" and giving them a bigger pump-up.

Oh and for the record, Harry looked bloody jetlagged today. Is that down to doing two 12-hour flights in a few days? Nobody will know. Just a massive coincidence.

Yep even more reason to change the system for the last 10 mins and get bergwijn on for davies or reguilon.

This isnt just a couple of hours to somewhere in europe! Its a mammoth trip to the US and back for gods sake. That will fudge with you whether you are on a private fudging jet or not!! Unbelievable!
It won't. I've done it enough times (not in the private jet unfortunately) and it takes a day or two tops to get back to normal after a commercial flight.
He wouldn't have been there long enough to adjust his body clock so no jet-lag to worry about.

Physically it shouldn’t impact him but perhaps having a golfing holiday in between matches might’ve somewhat taken Kane’s focus off his day job and that break in routine, after our squad had been drilled none-stop for weeks on end by Conte and his coaching team, was just enough to reduce our intensity levels which allowed Brighton to beat us today.

I agree that we can still be predictable at times. That comes from a remaining lack of depth in the squad. Lucas was poor when he came on and Bergwijn missed a sitter. We missed Doherty. There is still a lot of change needed within the playing squad.

Put this behind us and move on quickly to the next game. We are Spurs and we're used to setbacks. Our big advantage over L'arse, normally anyway, is our ability to score goals and their inability to do the same.

So back to normal Wed? 2 days training

I just think with a handful of games left it wasn’t neeeded.

that surprised me a lot too. When the wing backs are playing like full backs and we need a goal, better to take off a CB. Felt like Conte was accepting of getting a point

Making a mountain out of a molehill. Going to see a sporting event isn't saying that we only have to turn up and win.
What we did on the training pitch would be much more of an indication of that.?

Has South Carolina moved recently? It's not a 12 hour flight with connecting commercial flights, never mind in a private jet.
And he didn't look jetlagged, just you wanting to read something into his performance that wasn't there. He was just brick
like everyone else.
