Tanguy Ndombele

We’re all thinking this training alone and not playing is a sign of the impending departure of ndombele, but what if it’s the making of him?

Intensive personal development to get him to where we need him to be, it could happen people!

Personally I think the atmosphere would be toxic if he was to step back on the pitch in a Spurs shirt. particularly if it were at home

I think it depends on his attitude. If he gives his all he’ll get supported (like any player)

but jog about looking disinterested and you are right that he would get a lot of flack. Can’t really feel sympathy for him — 200k a week, put some effort in & rightly so.

Do not hold your breath waiting for that to happen ;)

To the strange folks who think we're being unfair on this lazy, useless waste of space, I always like to think back to how we stood by Bobby Soldier when he was here.

30m signing, was absolutely atrocious in front of goal for the entirety of his time here. Hard to class as anything other than a disaster of a signing.

But he had his name sung relentlessly until the last day - Soldado, he came from sunny Spain, to play at White Hart Lane/with Harry Kane.

Why? Because he cared. He ran hard, never stopped working, looked genuinely distraught at each of his many misses. And the fans saw that, and responded with support. He cared. Not his fault things didn't work out.

And iirc, he was always grateful for the support he got while he was here - still watches us to this day as a result, and mentions in interviews how much it meant to him.

Tubby? He has never cared, not for one moment.

And then folks are surprised the fans have given up on this 200k-a-week deadweight?

We want to see players that care. Sure, sometimes fans can be unfair even on players who care - the way we treated Rose, for example. But fans respond when players are seen to care. Simplest of bars to clear, and Tubby collapsed all over it like a lazy sack of potatoes.

We are all different and as supporters our hopes and expectations differ.
I'd rather have honest players who care and graft for the cause, even if they don't quite make it, than a lot of the selfish toads playing the game, who at spurs haven't won anything anyway.
I realise I'm probably in the minority but I'd rather we wore the shirt with pride and used that in our recruitment process.
We seem to totally miss the mentality side of a player out.

tickle my balls with a feather.

I supported him longer than most and was sympathetic to him moving to a new country, language barrier etc.
However there was a match earlier in the season and the players came out before the warm up and seemed to be trying to motivate each other, good team spirit, and Ndomebele was walking 5 metres behind them with his headphones on.

Summed him up imo. He's just taking the money and doing the minimum.

Even our worst signings have put in more effort than him (Rasiak comes to mind)

He will thrive at psg increasing the chances of them signing him in the summer for a large fee.

Going on loan to psg will really massage his huge ego and imo prompt him to give a fudge about football again at least to some extent. Then playing with superstars all around him against mediocre opposition and he will really shine.

Good deal for all parties.

As long as the disrespectful so and so quits in the next few days. Another Dalmat sadly, so much talent but not a team player.

Yeah but Valencia is the sort of club where he’d have to really apply himself if we want him in the shop window for the summer. Psg would be so much better, an easier ride with stars all around him, boosting his ego and playing against mediocre opposition.

We must be confident of getting other players in, if we're that adamant on no swaps?

I think it just means that there aren't players at PSG who they'd release, would want to come to us and who we'd want. I cant think of many at all

If they want a swap deal and we don't. It would suggest they do have players they want to swap, just we don't want them.
