ENIC

is simply straw manning people who are rightly extremely critical of Lewis’ ultra selfish approach.
How do you feel about the Ipswich Witches Speedway team?
If your business partner invested £550k but needed a further £67k this month to push them into the Champions League, would you give him the money?

He bought more of the club. Since they are fudged by ffp, it's not like they can spend it.

Are you really suggesting you'd prefer moshri as owner? Look at the league table.
He has converted £100m of loans to equity to shore up their balance sheet. Would love our owners (who have made fortunes out of our club, instead of spending fortunes as Moshri has) to do similar things at Spurs.

Interesting that you immediately always jump to ENICs defence even when there is no criticism by the way.

He's keeping them afloat. Good for him. What happens if he decides to stop, like we've seen at other clubs?

Ffs using everton as a benchmark lmfao.

Lots of value add from you as usual @statlover1

You are like one of these when it comes to ENIC

Let me make my position clear. I don't care about enic. I'd be happy for a new buyer to come in and clear our debts.

But i hate that football seems to be about who has the richest owners willing to pump money into buying players. It is unsustainable and dangerous for the game. All clubs should be sustainable and there should be a spending cap.

I also think uefa money should be better distributed. 50% of cl, el, ecl money given to federations instead of straight to clubs. They then distribute it more fairly. Thst way we have a more competitive sport.

I'd guess in general football. If there isn't one, even more funny that you're jealous of their ownership.
I’m jealous of having an owner (any owner) who is prepared to invest in their asset. With Levy as chairman and an owner other than Lewis who,is,prepared to invest we could have an laden impressively trophy cabinet.

They invested. They bought the club. Now it's self sufficient. They don't take money out of the club (apart from levy's wage). They don't put money in.

How it should be.

what you’re effectively saying is Levy has the right model. Think about that for a moment…

eventually the leagues will have to address financial doping.

btw you know that Moshi or whatever his name is is just a front for former dodgy-Arse owner Usmanov?

Yes. That's why i want an independent regulator. With spending controls, like la liga.

Where is the fun in buying trophies? It's a game of football not a willy-wagging contest.

It’s not about buying trophies…. It is about two men who purport to be a Spurs supporters who have made about £1.5b (though apparently they think more like £3b) through their ownership of the club who could (for instance) release a third of that £1.5b profit, still have made 10 times their investment but then perhaps be remembered as the men responsible for bringing success back to THFC instead of being remembered as men who died very, very rich.
