Does anyone suffer from mental illness on here?

Woken up so anxious today, literally massive knot in my tummy and I feel a bit nauseous
Really not sure why, slept well and we have a lovely weekend planned

I hope its passed by now and you're enjoying whatever it is you've got planned. I'm a fudger for being anxious when I should be enjoying life.

I have to say, Im one of those that think the mental health card is used too interchangeably with feeling a bit down. But I did my neck and back earlier this year so couldn't play golf when it opened back up. Works been absolutely crazy so my life has been literally kids and work. Spurs were my only outlet and 2021 has been a brick show on that front.

2 weeks ago I started swinging a golf club properly again without any pain. The difference its made to my mood is huge. I knew I missed it but didn't realise how much. I wouldn't say I was depressed or anything but it has made a huge difference that I probably underplayed.

Golf is my happy place !!
Play once or twice a week and it sorts me out
 
Getting really stressed and moany about the smallest things at the moment
Anybody know of any books/websites I could read/look at ??

Think someone mentioned a calm website a few pages back. I would try some meditation, try find a quiet calm space and close your eyes get into a relaxed position, maybe lying down and focus on your breathing.

I am a total believer in stress and mental health issues if not some of the labels people attach to them.

Are you eating well? Did you over indulge at Christmas. Getting some exercise, go for a run. I spent two hours at the gym today. Felt so good when I walked out.

Thanks matey, this is a big factor, massive ate and drank too much and need to do some exercise
