Christian Eriksen

Too big a risk. If he's not allowed to play in Italy because of health concerns, we shouldn't be giving him a try based on having laxer regulations

Italy is far more stringent than other countries for a number of reasons. Not saying they're right or wrong because my knowledge of the human heart wouldn't fill the back of a postage stamp.

If our medical people think he can play and the club is happy with that, I'd be thrilled to have him back. Part of that would be the romanticism of him coming back, part of it would be because he is exactly what we need.

Our insurance people might have an issue with it maybe?

But if possible, I'd love to see him back.

That’s all that matters
Italy have different rules on many things but it doesn’t make them wrong or right
Players play in other leagues and also champions league with the same tech fitted and it’s fine
My mate literally fits them and he think the gonna get more and more common with the tech around finding possible issues with hearts

Yeah thats a fair point. I guess I'm putting that under "if the club is happy with it". Can't see Levy taking a risk that would leave us wide open from a financial perspective. So if the medics are happy and Levy/Conte/the club are happy to have him back, that's good enough for me.

Whatever happens, I hope the guy gets back playing at a good level and stays healthy. It ended badly for him at Spurs and he wasnt putting it in towards the end but he always struck me as a good, genuine person and I'll always be grateful for the 5-6 years where he was a joy to watch.

Surely it's a moral issue, much more than an insurance one?

It's like sending a racing driver out of the pits after a big crash knowing there's a good chance the roll cage is compromised. It's getting on for corporate manslaughter territory
