Hugo Lloris

With goalkeepers his age I think we often see a rather quick drop in quality when age catches up to them.

No signs of that from Lloris so far, great to see. Should be given a new contract, but we should be ready to move quickly when the drop comes.

I don't get the media treatment of Hugo. The narrative is usually that he always has a mistake in him. He's barely put a foot wrong this season. Been ultra dependable again as he has been for some time after a couple of ropey years. Hes also always at the top of the shot stopping stats.

Yet he gets none of the plaudits that the likes of Alisson, Schmeichel, Mendy and De Gea get despite the fact that all of the above have made much more mistakes than Hugo.

We also need to give him a contract. He was loyal to us at a time when he was clearly a level or two above us. Time to repay that loyalty. And we are never getting a better keeper anyway.

Been our best player by a distance this season, only one to get close is skipp.

Has anyone got a definitive angle on Lloris' save/penalty vs Watford, did he get a reasonable touch on the ball?

The Watford player got the ball first, then Lloris knocked it wider before the player ran into him. No penalty, wasn't even shown or mentioned in the highlights.
