I thought Spider-Man: No Way Home was completely and utterly brilliant

100%
Best Spiderman film and one of the best genre films.

Superbly and engagingly done, juggling the large cast and twisty storyline expertly.
So many fan-pleasing moments, but not in a pandering way. I will see it again very soon

so i've gone back to watch the Matrix trilogy. I loved the original, meh'd over the second, and hated the 3rd.

I'm not sure my overall opinion of the second and third has changed, but i definitely have a keener 'knowledge' of movies nowadays, and forgot just how groundbreaking The Matrix really was.

From a storyline perspective, it's just batbrick crazy, and as we have seen in recent years, original story movies are hard to come by. On top of it, it spawned an entirely new franchise of movies and action sequeneces.

An immense film trilogy, and i do look forward to seeing what Resurrections holds despite my wish it stayed as just the one film.

The 2nd and 3rd were always crap, it's not to do with how they've aged.

There were a few other Matrix-like films out around that time I remember being pretty decent. Dark City is the best (and pre-dates Matrix), but there was also Equilibrium and Night Watch (the book is better)

Yeah, life in the virtual world has been thoroughly explored long before The Matrix came along. I've loved reading books that explore inner space by such great writers as Neil Stephenson or William Gibson. No one's come close to capturing their visions in a movie format. And I hope they don't try.

The one review I've read of Resurrections was pretty scathing. Said that the performances of Reeves and Moss are pretty much the only good things in the film, along with decent effects and fights. But the dialogue and story is bad.

Theres been a mixed bag of reviews. Some like it some don't. Some criticised the action.

Matrix 4 available to stream/download !!!
Will be watching at 4pm before our game tonight, looking forward to it immensely

If it’s as bad as 2 & 3 then not sure I’ll even bother with a Limitless trip to local Odeon for Matrix 4!

I've watched 15-20 minutes of it now and I'm turning it off. I have no idea what the story is about, I'm bored and I have no interest in finding out what's going on. The action scenes are just lazy rehashes of the previous films and some of the shots are of embarrassingly poor quality.

There's a review on imdb that sums it up for me: "It feels like a high end fan film."
