Injuries and suspension 21/22

No. Just no.

If someone has failed to follow club procedures/guidelines then maybe. We have no way of knowing if that's happened.

The idea of punishment for contracting covid without any other reason is frankly disgusting to me.

Then fine one of their relatives or release on a free transfer?

If we go deep in the Conference (extra round from finishing second too) and have three games postponed that will be two games a week most weeks I think.

More time spent travelling, more injuries, more fatigue, less time on the training ground. That will impact our chances in the league, there's just no way around that. To what extent can be discussed. If the upsides of a potential trophy in the Conference is worth it can be discussed. But to me there's no doubt that a conference run will impact league performances.

The fact that our squad currently isn't good enough for a good top four push and a CL campaign is just that, a fact. Over the next two transfer windows, the rest of this season and the preseason next summer that will have to be rectified if we do qualify for the CL.

We don't heve a competing in the CL level squad. Haven't seen anyone argue that we do. If anything there seems to be a broad consensus that we need to improve the squad in several areas.

Yep and its going to mean multiple games with one days break between them.

We wouldn’t win anything and end very low in the league.

It will completely derail our season.

I think a big part of the Conference League is motivation. The big players don't really want to play in it, the reserve players get upset that it's all they get (as seen with Vitesse away). Those same issues don't apply in the Champions League.
Hahaha! If that is the case, then they can fudge right off! We have won fudge all in 15 years, and suddenly some competitions are not high profile enough. They all say that they want to win things. They can start by showing they actually mean it.

You should tell the club that they should try to not qualify for anything, as playing in many competitions is not something we like. Maybe just pull out of the domestic cups too, as the only interesting competition is the PL. Everything else is beneath the mighty THFC.

Can do - should I use the details on the contact us page or I suppose I could drive to the training ground later this week?

It's literally in its first season, how could it possibly be high profile enough? I'd be happy to win it but not at the expense of our league form. You can also guarantee (not that I'd give two bricks) that the commentary would be "Spurs finally won a trophy...but it was only the Conference League."

Who's he talking about? Obviously Son is out but there's no other real worries is there?

Dier should be back and Bergwijn doesn't really count at this point does he?

Did we pick up some injuries last night?

Imo its subterfuge.
Chances of winning last night were slim, why put out a full strength team, Sunday is a much more important game.

Romero, Dier and Son I guess. The drop down from them to their replacements is substantial
Add Reggie too
That’s 4 starters there who 2 of which would get into most sides in the league and another 2 who would also expect the very top ones

I left Reggie out as the drop to Sess isn't so catatrophic given stylewise is like for like
