Not a film but just finished the first season of arcane on netflix.
Best thing i've seen in ages. Better than dune even.
Sooo good.

Took my youngest to see Encanto this morning
What an absolutely wonderful film, one of the very best of the recent films, very much like Moana

I thought that Ghostbusters Afterlife wasn’t great. It was as if they just wanted to remind everyone of the good stuff from the past but wrap it in a less well presented film. Cashing in on nostalgia.

Yes. It was pretty good, although not really Oscar-worthy. I liked the story and the cinematography. The ending was a bit dissapointing, but it didn't ruin the rest of it. Both Thomasin Mckenzie and Anya Taylor Joy were lovely ;).

Finally got around to watching Last Night In Soho over the weekend and concur with what you say, as I really enjoyed the first 2/3rds of set-up (lots of great cameos) but the way that it ended was predictable and meh.

Kristin Stewart was excellent, and I’m not a big fan of hers. The film was crap. Artsy fartsy stuff that critics love.

French Dispatch has no plot. I liked Grand Budapest Hotel which is also directed by Wes Anderson but French Dispatch is just really boring and not funny.

I caught The French Dispatch up my local independent cinema last week and it was the first Wes Anderson movie I’ve not really enjoyed since Darjeeling Limited.

Was surprised to see Lea Seydoux channeling Emmanuelle Béart and one of the group I went with recommended Blue Is The Warmest Colour on Netflix.

UK cinemas are the busiest they've been for a decade apparently. I'm having to go late tonight because the prime time ones are all sold out
