The Women’s Olympic Road Race ending was crazy, why aren’t they allowed to have radios?

Brilliant from Kiesenhofer though.

Classic.....good old school racing.

Some great moments for unexpected winners.....have you seen th Tunisian swimmer?

Think the men's time trial could be special. I absolutely love Gana from Italy, think he is an outstanding rider.

Also as much as I love cav, woult van aert was the star of the tour de france. A mountain, a time trial and the sprint in Paris. Who the Fcuk does that??? He is something very special.

That Tunisian 18 year kid did well! Loved the emotion in his celebration.

First British gold medal of the games for Adam Peaty backed up his gold in the last games.

3 stages near me, might check out the Lausanne finish? Atmosphere better on a mountain stage no doubt, but you’d have to put up with those bell ends in mankini’s who block the roads as the riders go past. Imagine it would be a disaster to get away from as well, roads are bad enough after a days skiing.

I knew he was racing but was just too busy to catch any of it.

O/t I cycled an apollo hybrid bicycle 3 miles this morning before giving up with it. A friend from the pub wanted me to test it before he gave it as a prize in a charity raffle. Get that's its for charity but GHod what an awful bicycle.

I had assumed that with bicycles getting so good that entry level bikes were better then they were 30 years ago.

brick bikes are still brick bikes...so so poor.

There's a minimum you have to spend to get to an acceptable level.

Some of that brick looks shiny in the shop. Best thing that someone can do if they have £200-300 to spend is buy second hand....there are some gems out there .

My 20yr old beater finally died last spring, during the lockdown bike boom, all I could get in my size was one from Decathlon, it’s a solid comfy bike, perfect for rides with the kids. There are decent budget ones out there.

He seems to be in good form right now.
What's the latest on the Tour? Will Cav have the chance to compete or will they go with someone else? or is it too early to tell?

Apparently it is between him and Jacobsken (spelling) I would take both if it were me as I do not think they are going for the GC. I would think one win for cav would make so much money through advertising it would pay for itself.
