We aren't discussing class. Make your point Scara. Stop teasing us with the BS questions. What's your hot take mate. Desperate to hear it
It's absolutely wrong to discriminate based on skin colour or ethnic origin (Rafiq's also a clam for that reason).

Discriminating against people who make brick life choices is fine though.

Virtually everyone makes strange life choices to someones view, I personally dont care how individuals choose to lead their life as long as nobody else is harmed or injured. I dislike people who try to guilt trip me with my choices as they dont meet their principles, says he chewing his bacon sandwich washed down with a glass of Bass.

Hope you're drinking the Bass from tbe correct glass, old bean.

Looks like Pat Cummins is going to get the Australian captaincy. Fast bowler as captain is going against the grain. Hopefully he's not up to the job.

I've never liked Michael Vaughan as player or pundit, but I think he's been a bit hard done by here in comparison to some of the others involved.

Everyone who has admitted guilt and apologised - Ballance, Lloyd, Hales, Hoggard etc - now just carry on, no further action. But the one guy who says he's innocent loses his job.

A day-night Test at the MCG is a live option to replace the fifth Ashes Test currently scheduled to be played in Perth, according to multiple outlets.

Western Australia’s strict border restrictions, plus the emergence of the Omicron variant, have put their chances of hosting the potential decider on January 14-18 at “50-50” proposition according to Western Australian Cricket Association’s chief executive Christina Matthews.

Melbourne and Sydney are viewed the favourites to host the fifth Test over Hobart or Canberra, and News Corp reports the England Cricket Board favours a pink ball test at the MCG over a trip to Tasmania.

There is no restriction on the number of pink ball Tests for the series, according to Nine, and having a day-night match would come as a counterweight to losing the Perth match, which would be finished at primetime on the east coast.

If the SCG was selected it would mean the curators would need to prepare a second Test pitch just days after the fourth Test (January 5-9) ends.

Two Melbourne Stars Big Bash matches are scheduled at the MCG during the fifth Test, on January 16 and 19, which would need to be moved if the game was rescheduled.

“We’ve snuck another in right beside it,” MCC chief executive Stuart Fox told 3AW of the current Boxing Day pitch.

“We’re never cheeky about these things because we’ve lost two grand finals and I don’t like seeing other states pinch content. But we’re ready if we’re needed, and if Cricket Australia just accidentally made a phone call to us and said, ‘We need you to host a second Test,’ we’d be ready to go.

“It’s pretty simple, I’ve spoken to Nick Hockley and said there’s a spare pitch there if any of the states get into trouble with a border closure, we’re happy to help out, but we know we’ve been at the opposite end of the conversation where we’ve lost content. So, I’m hoping we get this Test and series away with little disruption.”

Perhaps unsurprisingly Victorian Shane Warne called on the MCG to be given hosting rights

“Do you come back to Melbourne and have another Test match to give the Victorian fans something?” Warne said on Monday.

“They’ve probably had it harder than anyone else in Australia, so do you give them a bit extra to smile about for the last Test of the Ashes?

“Or do you give it to somewhere like Canberra or Hobart? There’s plenty of options.

“Obviously as a Victorian I’d love to see it in Melbourne at the MCG, especially with what the Victorian people have been through.

“I’d love to see two Test matches in Melbourne ... why not (pink ball). We’ve often talked about having a day-night Test match in Melbourne, it’d be outstanding.”
