Harry Kane MBE

its much harder to ochestrate one's exit in a high stakes and complex deal with many parties with differing interest.
the player - whoever he is - has to be responsible in the way he goes and how he affects the years of serving the club. think about campbell, berbatov, modric and bale - they all left in different ways to different effect. but they did their best playing for us (and themselves).

Well if he has made 'dumbish' comments, the fans have gone way overboard with their reactions imo. It's frankly childish, he's a footballer, not a politician. And most politicians get away with far worse.

His football was doing the talking well enough until the fans turned on him for saying he wanted to leave. Anyone with half a brain can see THAT's what is really affecting his form.

As to him not returning for training, he claimed he'd been given permission by the club. So far as I am aware, the club have never officially denied this.

Club don’t need too
The club made it clear he was absent
Kane came out afterwards claiming he had permission
He should have done it much earlier

Fans worship footballers more seriously than politicians!

Too bad Kane wasn't thinking about ledendary status... Or he just doesn't care enough for it

Enjoy his magnificence, don't be bitter or you'll end up like Lee Dixon, who claimed on ITV last night that Kane "shinned" this. What a pr1ck
It's digging him out all game every game it's embarassing on his part
He is worse than Smith/Tyler

Kane is an incredible goalscorer and footballer; probably the best Spurs will see during your lifetime.

He's a superb player, no question about that, but I have to admit that despite what happened in the last few days of his Spurs career, Berbatov remains the best forward I've seen in a Spurs shirt.

As good as Berbatov was, he's nowhere near Kane when it comes to goal scoring (or even creating) and that's the most important factor when judging a forward.

I presume he will come off now lol, wouldn’t put it passed him to tell Gareth he want another fifteen (minutes).

7 in 2 games is respectable.

I started to warm to Ian Wright when I saw a clip of him being surprised by his old teacher while presenting a programme at Highbury... It's on YouTube for those that haven't seen it and is very emotional...

He was also on Desert Island discs a couple of years ago and that is worth listening to as well....

Anyway, enough of all that sentimentality, let's hope Harry puts in a bit of effort against Leeds on Sunday...

COYS..

Words I could never have imagined agreeing with when he was playing, or in his early days as a pundit, but I have really come around to him. He has had plenty of positive things to say about us over the past few years, and he comes across as a really decent bloke.

Definitely, he's a good guy. Even in his playing days, he was someone you loved to hate, but not someone you actually really hated (Adams, Parlour, Merson, Wheelchair etc.)

Why are Spurs ‘fans’ so sour towards our own players.
Pure venom from many.

It's always been a thing since I've been supporting/going, but in this social media "era" it's about 1000x worse.

Think most if not all clubs have that element in their fanbase, it's a bit odd but quite easy to fall into sadly.
