**** Tottenham v Poocastle ****

How did Emerson get injured?

Watching the replay he might have had his foot trod on.

But David Prutton - on DAZN - says in light of what's just gone on in the stands, Emerson has no grounds to be rolling around, pleading with the ref and slamming his hand on the ground.

Considering the quick recovery, I'd say he's right. Emerson needs to realize what league and what level he's now playing in and just get on with it.

Before we get too excited, there are good reasons why Saudi Sportswashing Machine haven’t been winning any games. We’ve looked good in the Euro AutoWindscreens too.

Going to be a late night some Spurs fans. As if a 4.30pm kick-off on a Sunday wasn't bad enough. Although if we hold on it will make the journey back far more bearable.

If this was City or Liverpool 3-1 at HT I probably would not bother watching the 2nd half, as it would be a foregone conclusion. As it is Spurs, I reckon we still need another goal yet

Tiny Tactics Tim and Pious Alan Shearer are absolutely gutted with the halftime result. Sad, sombre mood in the PL Prod's studio.

No credit to Spurs for their clever work, passing and finishing on the first two goals. It's all about Saudi Sportswashing Machine's poor defending.

They'll be breaking out the black arm bands any minute now.

Someone on here asked a while back "when do you feel comfortable Spurs will win?"

Last time it happened for me was Old Trafford last season when we went 5-1 up and they were down to 10. Even at 4-1 with an extra man, I was nervous.

Same here. Remember being at Bolton a few seasons back 4-1 up but wasnt confident until we were in the last 5/10 minutes. Was starting to get more confident with us as the years went by, but west Ham last season set me back years in that respect
