Harry Kane MBE

Kane has had many performances like yesterday in the last couple years. I have some sympathy for him given it must be hard being a CF in a team who's primary aim is to not concede

It was hard to argue with the Talksport fellas comments today.

1. Kane will not enjoy playing in a Nuno team.
2. Kane does not want to be here.

I’m not saying he’s tapped into things none of us knew, but it’s hard to disagree with either.

He went on to say eventually those two things will start to show through in his performances.

It’s interesting to note he’s not even being talked about in golden boot chat - when they are discussing Ronaldo on TV, they are mentioning Salah and Lukaku but not Kane.

Heard the same about him playing under Mourinho. Pundits talk brick most of the time.

I've just been dumb enough to read part of a Daily Express article regarding Kane's new contract and this stood out
" after Levy blocked a 150 million pound move "
Really boils my tinkle, it's now recieved wisdom, fact that evil Mr Levy blocked poor little Harry from achieving his full potential.
Walob, where was the 150 mill bid? Has mean Mr Levy hurt little old City and Messiah Pep?
Post truth world, Trump would be proud.

After Pep himself said they did not bid. Also can not for one second believe Levy would put a transfer clause in a contract.

Don't see why not. Other clubs start 16/17 year olds all the time. Especially when we need a backup striker and Plan B.
If he doesn't do well send him out on loan, no harm done.

I don't care how good he has been in the past. I would bench him for the next 2 games. Scarlett can't do worse than Harry vs. Palace. The holdup play and movement was poor.

1. The break would do him good
2. We need another striker
3. It would force the manager and team to look away from him as the main man

1. Difficult to tell from a distance
2. We do but the transfer window is the time to solve that. Scarlett can start v the minnows in the group
3. I dont see how that works. He's the england captain and our star player

Kane has had quiet games before similar to the Palace game - he's had several of them in the past couple years. Get a win tonight and then the remainder of the group games become less pressured and we can rest more player then

But not wholly inaccurate.
Well it says lukaku is at least as good as (and actually the gist of the article is he's better than) kane....wrong. dont get me wrong lukaku is v good, better than kabe though? No.

It also says kane is in decline... wrong again considering he had his best season at spurs stats wise last year (in a frankly poor spurs team) and led England to the finals of the euros.

However they are right about our squad not being good enough and the lack of top class talent in other key positions....

I'm worried about tomorrow:grimacing:!!

I rather liked The contrast is hard to avoid. At Spurs Kane looks like the only piece of the jigsaw. A very good piece, a double-corner with some sky, all ready to knot together some vibrant new scene. But lost for now down the back of the chaise longue with your house keys, a desiccated tangerine and Eric Dier.

He does also highlight Chelsea set a club record to buy Lukaku to add to the £M they have already spent
