Christian Eriksen

+ Dembele.

But i don't think finding players of Eriksen's ability is easy to achieve either. He was primarily a no10 when we bought him and shifted him to the left. It was a great marriage for Eriksen and Spurs, he suited Poch's style.

Would he have fared so well under Jose or Nuno? Not so sure.

He was the type of player you build a side round, he was the heartbeat for us and Denmark.

And what about the games in which he went missing?

This is just a mindless post. He was a great player for us and was a driving force in the past decade. I prefer to remember what he did for us in most of that time rather than the pessimistic view favoured by so many on here. It's incredible the negativity shown to Eriksen when compared to the hero worship lavished on the petulant Lamela and his constant failure to produce for us.

That's the point we would have supported him by having a backup or alternative to him. Another true creative force obviously at a lower level than Eriksen. The competition and not always having to be the one guy on the pitch with the eye would have improved him and the team. That's how we could have supported him.

You had me up to the lamela bit. No need for that.
Eriksen was a great servant for us and thats what i will always remember.
His leaving, the form he was in and the way he left was as much the clubs fault as his.
We should have accepted he wanted to leave (which always said he did) , drawn a line under it and gone our separate ways on good terms.
A player i"m glad and proud to say was a spur.

Christian Eriksen: Inter Milan midfielder unable to play for club after cardiac arrest

Inter will let Eriksen leave the club as he cannot feature for them.

"The player has been temporarily inhibited by the Italian medical authority from sporting activity in the current season," Inter wrote in a statement on Thursday.

"Although the current conditions of the player don't meet the requirements of achieving sporting fitness in Italy, the same could instead be achieved in other countries where the player could resume competitive activity."
