The Official 2021/22 Premier League Thread

Fabinho 2 seconds late into a challenge, and plants the studs in the leg of a Leeds player. Commentators says he got booked because the ball bounced up into his hand....

Looks a horrible injury for Elliott.

Wasn't a red though, sent of for the injury rather than the tackle

Not the first time we've seen that happen. Still baffles me how refs can't keep calm and just judge from the actual challenge.

Exactly. Ref gave everything in favour of Liverpool the entire game! Haven't seen such a massively biased ref in ages. It was laughable.

his attitude may have been driven by the shambles of a weak we have had with injuries and call ups
Without a doubt But he didn’t seem to have an answer from the very start except hold out hope for a draw.

The whole international debacle is a joke

I think he set his team up to be fictional and grind it a win
He didn’t know who he would have fit until the day before
And they would have had one training session in that time
The internationals kill a squad that doesn’t have 25 experienced players
Our bench yesterday was a mixture of new signings (Gil and Gollini), old dross (Davies) and youth players, Markanday been playing well in the U23s, Scarlett is 17 (I’ve never heard of Omole)
That says a lot to how this week has fudged us
We had to have Tanguy in the bench and we also had Doherty who played 3 internationals really well TBF
