I think it’s good that they’ve finally realised “the athletic” have just been doing puff pieces for Arteta since he was first linked to the job. Honestly think he could brick on the side of the pitch while licking his balls and “the athletic” would make something up about the bigger picture and how many languages he speaks!

f me even Keown’s realised the emperors got no clothes now and he was one of the biggest sycophants a year ago!

I think our chances of finishing 7th depends on how odegaard and partey manage to stay injury free. 2 seasons finishing outside of CL should be a stackable offense imo. but looking at the investments spent on transfers, looks like the board will let him on the last years of his contract before making any decision.

If prefer AFTV to The Athletic's Arteta PR Pieces. Atleast the former doesn't try to make the rest of the fans believe that Arteta is a Pep-regen sent by GHod. A big chunk of Arteta fanboys is a result of the PR pieces.

Just read a piece on Football 365 from a Woolwich fan riling against AFTV, it was heartfelt and understandable. He's seen his club made a laughing stock throughout the world by these money grabbing muppets. I would be angry if our club was represented by this bunch of macarons.
I was bought up in north London and all my mates were either Spurs or Woolwich and enjoyed the banter, I can never understand this "hate" thing but like most love to see our rivals suffering, but football can do without the sort of fans AFTV breed.

Agreed, he might be out of reach for them at the moment. What they need is probably a former player, to get the fans back onside, and preferably a defender. Also, someone who is free at the minute, so they don't have to pay a fee, someone with experience managing English teams at some level and someone who has expressed the fact that he hasn't gotten the opportunities which he feels he deserves. Any suggestions?

I had Tony Adams earmarked but they're in such a hole at the moment that I think they need one of the greatest football minds in Britain. Does anyone fit that bill?

Conte would take it IMO, there are funds there, he’d want to spend it differently to their regular MO though, which will put them off, as long as they trust the process.

No one sucks off Arsenal quite like The Arseletic. By a long way, the most sycophantic coverage I've ever read. They had Arsenal Agony Aunt Amy Lawrence on their writing roster for a while, though I haven't seen anything from her lately.

Worse, though, is that they've put in lifelong, hard-core gooner Charlie Eccleshare as the Spurs beat writer. Never misses a chance to invite Spurs fans to defecate on their own club. They excused it when I enquired by saying that his editors are both Spurs supporters who would keep close tabs to ensure he didn't cross lines. I got banned from commenting there when I complained about Eccleshare's crafty piszstakes. Gutless wimps.
