I think that might be right. But that'll be fine for us - a year through the rebuild, some incoming players more settled and then spend that £100m on a couple young CFs to replace a 29 year old

True. But I do think the fact he wasn't willing to entertain or be bullied by City with their joke offers, he didn't comment publicly but we all have a good idea where he stands and he's gotten this resolved a week before the end of the window to allow us to negotiate on a level playing field with other clubs show a great handling of it by Levy and the club.
It seems like City, sections of the media and a lot of ex pros thought we should allow ourselves to be bullied by Emirates Marketing Project and Harry's "right" to leave. Well they can all get fudged. I may have lost a bit of faith in Levy over the last while but the one place you don't fudge with him is on transfers.
