Tottenham vs The Scum

Nope, it started with a specific case of calling out a poster who uses Islam as a smokescreen for spouting racial and prejudiced flimflam and has a history of goading Muslim posters. Let’s be clear.

You’ve then taken it upon yourself to be some weird, whining freedom fighter for thought and speech and to peddle your anti-Islam rhetoric (which absolutely no one has tried to stop you from doing). And people are calling you out for it. Just own and accept the education you’ve received in this thread rather than getting more and more unhinged.

Also, another teachable moment for you. Saying ‘I don’t hate Muslims I just feel sorry for them’ is a real prickish thing to say when two of them specifically in this thread had treated your ridiculous comments with dignity and patience.

Wait a minute you have no clue about me and instead of trying to be some sort of superhero PC police you are hovering in and out of the convo between DT, Bradford without actually saying much.

When I said I feel sorry for muslims ... get some perspective instead of being such a little soy boy and assuming you know what I am talking about. Look at the poor people fleeing the taliban for example ... now it may not be to your liking but something in Islam has created the taliban and the people as in the civilians as in the muslims in that region will have to suffer the lack of freedom they currently have.

When I say I feel sorry for muslims I maybe looking at it from a western perspective and thinking how people in Saudi are dictated to and how they live their life all because of some prehistoric rules in sharia.

Wherever sharia law is, muslims suffer that's my opinion, don't like it not my problem.

@Gazza ...I'll take it that you didn't see this question, so asking again in good faith.

Do you know Iran's history? Do you know why it is where it is? Do you know why Islamic extremists have risen throughout the Middle East and parts of Asia? When were you in Iran if you don't mind me asking, and for how long?

I dont really think you actually are posting in good faith if I'm honest due to previous snide comments. Unlike @Bradford and to a certain extent @DT.

But ill entertain you while I get myself to work ... I know enough history to have a conversation about pre Islamic Arabia and Middle East, and know how Islam spread, what happened to say zoroastrians in Iran, Khomeini etc. My university class mates were from Iran, having studied at NYU.

Was in Iran for months at a time on three different occasions within the last decade due to work.

I dont know what you are expecting from trying to give me a history lesson coz save yourself the trouble I've read quite a bit and like I said have had Persian mates and was banging a Persian girl during my university years ... now that's the history I want to talk about hah. But bored with this now so I'll just wrap up DT and befords requests and move on.

I heartily look forward to you continuing this written critique and employing it with other religions/faiths.

Oh I shall, and I'm sure you DT, Bedford, autoraman will absolutely do exactly the same for religion outside of Islam... Not that I've seen any of that ever from anyone when there is a discussion... perhaps I missed it.

I'm still waiting for the Hadiths you had for me.

How would you like them, how many? But what's the point discussing the hadiths since you accepted that they could all be flimflam since they were written years after? And some people accept them and some don't accept them entirely. Very confusing do you not agree? Why have them in the first place if you are going to pick and chose which ones you like or accept?

I've had this discussion a few times actually, and have been give many answers but the best one is that the quran can't be understood without them giving perspective.

So how can you actually be right about perspective if muslims cannot agree about what they mean in the first stance.

Oh boy, soy boy. That's a fun little expression.

Who do you get information from that uses that term seriously? Genuinely curious, I've never heard it from a person I consider worth listening to.

Show me a religion where everyone believes in the exact same understanding of what the holy texts mean?

Aren't the extremists the one's believing in everything and in a rather narrow understanding of what the texts can mean?

I know all I need to know about you by the fact you aren’t embarrassed about using the term ‘Soy Boy’.

Keep practicing for your next EDL rally in this thread mate, you’ve been sussed.

Interesting you clocked that as well my friend. We all know the type of individuals that would use that expression. He’s exposing himself more with each post.

@Gazza - please can you apologise to @AuroRaman for the personal insult. Any more of that and you'll be taking a break from this site.

Had to look up what soy boy was. Seems its a homophobic and/or misogynistic term...

So..... um... @gaza weren't you saying that your dislike of Muslims was due at least in part to what you perceived as homophobia and Misogyny within the religion?

Not originally but it is used as an insult towards vegan males because some people still live in the 1950’s and think ‘real men eat meat’. This is a bit of an overview:

There is this interesting dichotomy happening mainly online and I'm still not quite sure what it is or how to frame it. Is it woke vs anti-establishment? Those on the anti-side seem to frame it as against political correctness whereas those on the 'woke' side seem to be pro inclusion. I personally don't like the term woke. But what is fascinating is how identities are formed online. And how close friends or family members seemingly from the same backgrounds can find they are in oposing camps. Wierd isn't it? Identities used to be a lot simpler based on fashion, music etc.

I find these terms tiresome too, but I think 'wokeness' and anti-establishment tend to go closer together than whatever the opposite of 'woke' is. Places like 4chan have become breeding grounds for hate and prejudice, which is then released into the wider online world. With regards to the term 'soy boy', that is specifically used by far right extremist individuals or those that at least sympathise with their values.
