Juan Foyth

? not sure which is the bigger stretch
- The idea that Foyth is in that bracket of talent
- The idea is after 12 PL appearances in 2 years of Poch, him not making it at Spurs was down to Jose?

Exactly. He was tried out in multiple positions and never made any of them his. Not saying he’s a bad player but he wasn’t in the team for a reason and he was sent out on loan and subsequently sold for a reason. If he rips it up in Spain then some may argue we made a mistake selling him but we can only go on what we see from him with our own eyes.

simplistic way of thinking about it, but now sell Dier or Sanchez for, say £20m-£25m, and add it to the Foyth money and you have enough for a very decent CB in today's market

He knows the enemy when he sees one !

Hakim Ziyech has a "serious" injury, says manager Thomas Tuchel, after the Moroccan winger appeared to suffer a shoulder problem in Wednesday's Uefa Super Cup victory over Villarreal.
Ziyech opened the scoring but hobbled off before half-time following an innocuous looking challenge with ex-Tottenham defender Juan Foyth. He sat in the stands for the second half with his arm heavily strapped up.
"If you take a player out during the first half it's serious," said Tuchel.

About time Foyth did something good for Spurs….. It only took about 5 years.
