Rashford has progressed from being a very promising prospect into a candidate for canonization, I wonder if he should not withdraw from the Euro squad and sort out the covid situation.

Fair play for him pursuing the cause he has but his football is not of the quality that warrants a place in this England side.

He has not been very good for much of the season. Southgate seems to have his favourites. Pickford for instance he’s not the best English keeper .

Such an odd way to run an international side . He has been handing out undeserved caps in his time in the job.
 
Ben White gets TAA’s place. Shame as I thought James Ward Prowse was worth taking for his set pieces and at least as capable of doing the basic dirty work other midfielders seem to have been selected for, of which Henderson and Phillips seem to be carrying injuries.

I think Ben white is a good call myself
We really don’t have enough CBS in the squad and we may want to play 3 at the back
White is basically a new better Dier in his versatility

So in essence we were going to use Walker as a rcb, but as the 4th choice right back got injured we call up a centre back who made his debut last week!

I do agree we look weak at centre backs and I think White could easily have been preferred to any of them for various reasons.

I hope I’m wrong of course but it feels like it’s going to be a real shame that no we have some wonderful attacking options it looks like we will struggle to go far because of the centre back situation, whether it’s quality or sacrificing an attacking outlet to compensate with 3 at the back.
 
Still don't understand picking players for warm up games who had no chance of involvement in the tournament, ie. Watkins. Surely the games should be used to get your team and formation(s) ready for the first game v Croatia?

Rambling rubbish.

I guess he got onto racism and taking the knee which is clearly what he was aiming towards before I gave up reading.

For the record though I think taking the knee has lost all impact I am happy for them to keep doing it and I won't boo. Also if a spurs fan makes monkey noises at a game next season I would back the f.a. in docking us points and making us play a game with no fans.
