Danny Rose

Excellent left back who always gave his all. Spoke out honestly about the lack of ambition at the club when many players wouldn't have dared.

Thanks for your several years of service Danny. It is a shame how it ended, especially as I doubt your performances this season would've been any worse than those of Ben Davies.

"OOOOOOHHHHHHH IT'S DANY ROSE ON HIS PREMIER LEAGUE DEBUT!!!!!!'

Thanks for the memories Danny boy. Best left-back I've seen in the shirt.

All the best for the future.

Out transfer committee screwed this one kup. Could not even get an out going be done properly.

I year contract to go we let player go to waste instead of moving him at a low cost? What signals does it send to aspiring players?

Danny Rose shows that society still has a long way to go to understand mental illness. He was a complex character who clearly suffered highs and lows of mood. Poch generally understood this and managed him well hence he got the best out of him. Other managers not so well. Fans of course mostly didn't understand at all.

I think he was a very good left back, one of my favourites, aggressive, pacy and driven. Sadly he could not really get hold of his moods and should have kept some of his statements to himself. A lot of the time though he actually was a very engaging speaker saying things that many fans were thinking.

I wish him well and hope that he can get to grips with his mental demons.

Real shame he didn't have better guidance on how to present things to both the media and his seniors. In your 20s some people are just rebellious. As he matures he can become a respected mature fella. But running his mouth off cost him in the latter part of his career. Still he's not complaining. A multimillionaire and he could still easily play at the top level for another 4 years, plus contribute to the coaching side.
