The Fight to Qualify for the European Conference League 2020/21

Leeds away will be tough although they played in to our hands last time, so more of the same there please - need to win all our remaining games whatever happens elsewhere

Winner takes all at Leicester last game of the season?
Agreed. Not sure what the odds are on us winning the remaining games, but it must be up there.

Would take a decider on the last day for sure, looking at the take there's a lot of ground to make up and we could easily not get a decider on the last day even if we win our next three.

All we can do is win the next game though. At least things are interesting.

I think 4 wins will get us top 4 as I dont see both Chelsea getting more htan 7 points from their final 4, and Leicester getting more than 5 points...and with 4 wins, our GD would likely be better.

Additionally, its quite possible that 10 points from the last 4 games would get 4th. If Chelsea lose to City at the weekend, will they then get more than 5 points from their remaining 3 games? Probably 50/50....

Anyway, here's my effort at predicting the impossible!

Leicester - 69
Spurs - 66 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Cheatski - 66
Liverpool - 64
West Ham - 63
Everton - 60

"Even the longest journey (to CL qualification) starts with a single step"

"It is the second step that gives momentum"

"and then comes the trip-wires, and the fall from grace"

"and then comes Ryan Mason who sets up the chase"

As of today the following cannot catch us :-

gw 34 - Wolverhampton Wanderers
gw 34 - Crystal Palace
gw 34 - Southampton
gw 33 - Saudi Sportswashing Machine
gw 33 - Brighton & Hove Albion
gw 33 - Burnley
gw 31 - Fulham
gw 29 - West Bromwich Albion
gw 28 - Sheffield United

Yeah ...and then Chelsea win the CL and Arsenal win the EL.

Win the last 4 games, and I think we could even finish 3rd looking at those fixtures, providing it's a Chelsea/leicester draw. It's a massive ask, but could finish like this

Spurs 68 Better GD
Chelsea 68 (Wins v Villa/Arsenal Draw v Leicester Defeat at City)
Leicester 67/68 (Win v Saudi Sportswashing Machine; Draw v Chelsea; Loss to Spurs; Loss/Draw at United)

It's out of Everton's hand in this scenario, but West Ham and Liverpool would have to drop 2pts each along the way, they both could reach 70 and 69 respectively.

That would be some result from this shambles of a season, but right now, is still a possibility

I don't think we'll get top 4, and even if we do, it won't be enough. Cheatski will fluke a CL win again, and Arse will win the EL. Nailed on!

Could yet be:
3. Leicester
4. West Ham
5. Liverpool
6. Tottenham
7. Chelsea
Chelsea win the FA Cup and we'd be in the Europa Conference despite finishing 6th.

Or, as above but Leicester win the FA Cup, we console ourselves with a Europa League place ...
... until Chelsea win the CL & Arsenal win the EL which leads to West Ham being transferred to the EL and Spurs being transferred to the Europa Conference.
