Youth Players/On-Loan Thread 2020/21

Seems there is no stream but I'm amazed to see Spurs are for once updating us with Twitterz e.g.

Tottenham Hotspur
@SpursOfficial

-: Work to do for our U18s in the #FAYouthCup as we trail to
@WBA
with 10 men. John, Scarlett and Mundle all tried shots in the last 20 minutes but no way through as yet. #THFC 0-1 #WBA

RED CARD. We're reduced to 10 men as defender Muir is shown a second yellow card.

40 - WOODWORK! So close to a leveller in the #FAYouthCup as Scarlett controls Kyezu's excellent cross from the left but his strike is deflected onto the bar and bounces down on the goal-line.

I think that it is probably a conscious decision to try to keep the kids out if the spotlight and reduce pressure on them

Maybe, but why advertise the availability of the Wimbledon fixture?

To answer my own question, there is perhaps a case for backing away from social media while the numpties and racists are too prominent.

It doubt it is to do with online abuse. Loads of the youth players have social media accounts and engage with fans through them.

I think that it is just to keep them out of the spotlight. If another club is broadcasting a game, there is no sense in denying that it is on.
