Tottenham vs Manchester United OMT

GLC was playing well, working hard, tackling, getting the ball forward quickly, and working well with Tanguy. The most creative midfield we have and we need a goal.
So the logical thing to do is take GLC and then Tanguy off when we need a goal and put on Sissoko to kill all creativity from midfield

The problem is, that that group of players is where the bulk of the failure to perform is coming from.

Understand why you're saying that but without tactics or a system, you lose a large amount from the potential of the players. You play to less than sum of the parts

get a manager who installs a way of playing and then judge them

and then he brings on Lamela when you need a goal from either Bale or Vinny

I'm done with this rabble for this season now

Repeating myself, apologies, just said the same to somebody else, most of them served up the same under the previous manager, who most agree did exactly that.

Of the list I mentioned, PEH, GLC, Ndombele, reguilon didnt play under Poch (or barely did)

Kane, Son, Dele, Lloris did....and played well!

I bet on Man United to win the game which is something I don't usually do (betting against Spurs) and I cashed out in the first half as I don't like betting against Spurs. So angry now

I expect we probably will start there, but they were no better for his predecessor, I have no faith in them being any different for his successor.
They were much better for 4 whole seasons.... shame the chairman panicked after the 12 game bad start to season 2019/20. We now have to spend our transfer budget sacking the lame duck manager

I agree

change the manager, but Hitchens needs to go as well.

Still won’t stop us failing due to ENIC penny pinching, but a new recruitment team might be able to spot actual talent/get a deal done.

Bye Harry, bye Son.
To be honest, selling one of them (Son) wouldn't be catastrophic IMHO, if we can get in a proper playmaker for the fee. Yes, I know that they have a good goal-assist ratio between them this season, but I've said for quite some time that one of them has to play outside their strength to accomodate the other. They don't compliment well, we were much better when the team was set up to get the most out of our top man. Which is Kane, who no matter how good a passer should never be found roaming around the halfway line.

Changing the manager isn’t a magic button.

I don’t think ENIC penny pinch, I think we spend what we can afford, we need to get improve the acquisitions though, get to players earlier in their careers, before the money doped clubs are in the hunt.

I want rid of Mourinho who has been a massive mistake and you could make a case for Poch to be given more time to bed in new signings, but the results had dropped off at the end of the prepaid season.
Levy acted promptly to save our CL qualification imo and believed Mourinho could reinvigorate the team. I don’t see how he can stand by that decision for much longer with us failing to get CL after a full season and a half.
