Watched Once Upon A Time... In Hollywood and largely enjoyed it. Until the utterly ridiculous final scenes full of gratuitous violence.

There you have Brad Pitt's likeable, well-drawn character, a man full of restraint and self-control throughout the film, calmly sorting out the gunman, decking one knife-wielding woman but suddenly going apeschit and violently pummeling the other knife-wielding woman. And don't say he was high on LSD. Smoking that stuff doesn't have the slightest effect. I know.

It's in the film to fudge with your belief system. Your first sentence summed it up perfectly. Even though during the film we are alluded to the rumour that he potentially killed his wife, we the audience make the choice subconsciously [at least, I did] just because the character has that same 'Brad Pitt' alure. It cant possibly be true seeing as hes such a nice guy. But he clearly has it in him, especially after having a low-energy encounter on the Ranch and this time they're trying to kill him. If the Manson-wannabes had their way, the film would have ended on a sour note. But hey, Hollywood endings and all that.

I liked the ending of OUATIH

Also though Django and Hateful Eight, the two films previous, were among his best - Inglorious Basterds didn't do it for me

I watched Escape from Pretoria last night, with Harry Potter starring in the lead - fully expected it to be complete trash but was pleasantly surprised. Nothing spectacular but a solid enough 6/10, basic prison escape story - couple of tense scenes.

Part of the reason i watched it was because one of my favourite movie watching experiences last year was Jungle, also with Harry Potter, as it was one of the most comically awful movies I've ever seen - a real so bad it's good type of situation and I've watched it twice since just laugh at it.

Watched Seaspiracy on Netflix last night. Powerful, certainly makes you think about things!
It is very good.

There have been a few questions raised regarding the accuracy of some of the stats quoted but they are red herrings really . The overall message is perfectly on point.
