Mourinho has to make a statement Sunday. Perhaps this would work?

Lloris

Aurier
Sanchez
Rodon
Reguillon

Ndombele
Hojberg
Lo Celso

Moura
Kane
Son

I am working on the premise that

a) he will not be employing his "naughty step" player bar
b) he will look to win the game from the kick-off
c) Moura, Kane and Son will interchange regularly

I would equally not mind seeing Bergwijn tried instead of Moura, but fear that his confidence has been shattered to the point he cannot play in the attacking sense he used to.

This would all leave us with a bench including the likes of Lamela, Bale and Dele...

Thought? I also know 4-3-3 is very fast from what he has done, but again, hope springs eternal and I am trying to be positive.

I hate saying this but there's a part of me that almost wants us to lose...

If we win it will only build up our hope for it then to be destroyed by a late equaliser in a home draw against Sheffield United...

As for team selection, Sanchez is the biggest decision... Leaving him out could damage his confidence even more and being aware of the talk that the club thinks he can still improve he may well play..

Apart from the right back position, the rest of the team will probably be the lot that started against Saudi Sportswashing Machine..

COYS, i think.

You think he is done with Bale now?

He hasn't got the legs to play the football we play under Mourinho. Our wide forwards will spend most of the game protecting the fullbacks on Sunday. Bale isn't good at this and he can't run three quarters of the pitch to join in attacks for 90 minutes.

Can't understand true supporters wanting us to lose any game.

It's a sad fact that there is little sportsmanship in the fanbase of any club, in the 70s the hooligans bought the tribal element to matches and now it is rife in the game, few see anything good in their opponents and cant accept some you win some you lose. Things will only get worse on here as the team breaks up and results get harder to get.

I would go for Toby and Rodon. I hope Sanchez doesn’t have a future at the club and we sell him in the summer. It’s at least a year overdue.

Agree with the rest of the team.
