Manager Sack Watch

Did he manage anyone in the time between Spurs and Schalke? Judging by Schalke's results, it's a no.

Basel, Stuttgart, Young Boys, Al-Ahli and Zamalek. He managed three separate spells at Al-Ahli in just over five years.

4 Swiss league titles, 4 Swiss cup titles, a league title and 2 cups in Saudi-Arabia, one CAF Confederation Cup (the African equivalent of the Europa League) and one Saudi-Egyptian Super Cup.

Kewell sacked by Oldham. Second time now he has been given the flick after his term at Notts County.

No idea how he was doing but I remember he said something a while back that all managers should be given 5 years or something before they should be sacked etc.

I think this is like a Turkey suggesting Christmas should happen every 5 years...

Nigel Pearson incoming no doubt !!
He’s just got a new job, him and Joey Barton will be contesting the el psycho derby in Bristol!

these are the initial links per Betfair:
  • Paul Heckingbottom 2/1
  • Neil Lennon 4/1
  • Eddie Howe 9/2
  • Frank Lampard 11/2
  • Slavan Bilic 11/2
  • Gary Monk 7/1
  • Danny Cowley 7/1
  • David Wagner 11/1
  • John Terry 14/1

Former Chelsea and England midfielder Joe Cole is in contention to be the new England Under-21 boss if Aidy Boothroyd is sacked. (Sun)

Now that is truly worrisome.
