I feel slightly ashamed to say it, but in the 50+ years during which have supported this club, I don't think I have ever wanted a manager sacked so much. Mourinho is toxic and needs to go before his approach does any more damage.

He's a collapsed narcissist with no tactics. Chelsea the first time he had tactics but we've seen none of that. We're going through a more faded repeat of his time at Old Trafford. I can't imagine where he will go next and what horrors he will instigate.

The players may be under-performing/non-performing but I reckon plenty of other managers could do a better job of motivating and coaching a decent performance from these players and figuring out strategy/tactics.

We're just another Leeds or Saudi Sportswashing Machine with a talented squad that ultimately won nothing. At least there's a precedent.

Y'all think it is the manager. Really. This is the first time the players have badly performed when all they needed to do was see it out. Remember Saudi Sportswashing Machine, Remember the European losses Vs Genk? I can't emotionally support these players any more.

A final note. With 45 points, we're safe from relegation. Run out the kids. Nothing left to lose.

Bench Sissoko and sell him away. He's finished here with that performance.

Well, goodbye for a while, chaps. I'm off to buy a new barbeque. Freshly vaccinated, Lady Norf et moi meme are heading norf to open our lakeside chalet and evict the small mammals that hid from the brutal Canadian winter in our cozy walls.

There's no internet or TV service where we are, so no way to prolong this suffering. I'm just looking to restore balance in my life.

Good food, wine, music, sex, and books.

Oh, chainsaws and power tools, too.

Back to review the carnage in a week or so.

Make sure the mammals consent first.

We can't even do it with a serial winner in charge, a man with 400% record in this competition I believe? Where next for this club, I'm continually backing them and believing we'll be a force to be reckoned with and yet I'm continually let down.

For real if we can't win a trophy with Mourinho, I wonder who we will win with? Nagelsmann? These players keep up with the demands of his tactics? Who? Klopp? Who exactly. We need to face up to the truth. We have a real problem with our playing squad.

from his post match interview: Before the game I told the players the risks of a bad attitude. At half-time I told them the risk of playing the way they are playing. And it happened, because I believe the players only realised the game was at risk when they scored a second goal and it went to extra time.

So maybe it's time to walk away, Jose...

Lucky, lucky man

Maybe, just maybe they would listen to, and be motivated by, a different manager.

It's the players and the manager. The defence is beyond brick. And the mentality of the group is terrible. Mourinho's no healer, he's not going to get a tune out of this lot.

Winks and Sissoko just don't work as a pair and everything crumbles from there.

Yes we need a new CB but my priority would be finding suitable depth behind PEH and Tanguy for next season to allow us to function when either or both of them are unavailable.

We have no midfield engine at all when these 2 play.
