*** OMT Tottenham Hotspur v Burnley ***

Far far better full stop. I even prefer their show on a Saturday afternoon now, as opposed to the Jeff Stelling show
One upside to pandemic is there’s 3pm kick-offs being broadcast, so I’ve not had to watch those score update shows for a while.

This is the fudging Tottenham I have been waiting for. We can blow any team off the pitch with our attacking talent. Where we have been in the league is simply not good enough from a manager with the ability of Jose. Now come on win us that Europa League. It's the least we should do.
For sure when they allow us to play like Burnley did today. But too often we are easy prey against teams that come out determined to disrupt our game through high-intensity pressing, use of the dark arts etc.

Wow, I know the commentators seem to be under orders to mention Hjojberg's poor debut against Everton every match, but to speak of it more than once today? Please.

I was worried in the last 5 minutes as I'm sure I heard somewhere we throw away a 3 goal lead against st West Ham this season.

fudge me, can we play Burnley at home every week? :D

First time I've felt properly good about this team for a long while. Burnley let us play, but I think they didn't expect just how bloody good Bale is at keeping possession and playing through balls. They stuck tight to Kane all the time, but they stood off Bale, and they paid for that with the second and fourth goals.

After watching Lucas, Lamela and Bergwijn run in straight lines down blind alleys and struggle to keep the ball, watching Bale stroke it about, beat Burnley's lumbering battlers with ease, play beautifully weighted balls in behind and around his marker...it gives me a bit of hope in the intrinsic ability of football to thrill, to excite and to amaze, every weekend.

In the slowly warming sunshine of an early spring morning, we got our Tottenham back, if only for 90 minutes - full of verve, style, energy and happiness.

Not a single bad thing to say about any of them today. Mourinho, f*cking please - play Bale from now on.:D

my post,s have been vindicated... If I had been Manager we would have been top of the League..
Why.. because I would never have played the brick defence that keeps getting played week in week out!
I would have sorted it out somehow ...we are still short of the right players...
Anyway big mouth me...we did say we a had a chance of winning the EPL at the begining of this season..
chance has gone!
I missed the match dammit.. could not find a stream .
Anyway. I bet we looked the best Team in the League going forward to day...
Anyone think we can turn our season around. It would be nice but I would not put money on it and I expect
we will go back to more of the same once one or two of our attackers get injured. Because the defence is going to sorely let us down and that affects the mentality and belief of the Team. If we had Bale, Son, Moura, Kane Deli,
Le Celso and perhaps Lamela as I have been saying (Jose has refused to play these players to gether )playing in regular games we should at least get forth at a push!...but it,s our stupid rooster ups defence that have let us down
time and time again ..
Anyway..fun being a Spurs fan innit..lol.
I Love the club though..lots...

Yes Sanchez was excellent today and made one or two critical tackles. But let's not get carried away just yet. Because even today, every time he headed the ball it still went straight up in the air like it always does, and though his passing was better than usual he still misplaced a few out-balls that came straight back.
