UFO’s - Do You Believe ?

- The question is not is there other life in the universe, it is mathematically impossible that we are the only planet with life, we are made of the most common material in the universe and sheer scale of the universe would lead to life existing elsewhere (an equation was built to prove it)

What common material is 'life' made of?

Or we are all a simulation.

FYI - you are all part of my simulation. Sorry folks, you are not actually real.

Chemical reactions and sometimes a small electrical charge

I'm quite sure that carbon is a major constituent of organisms.
But what makes 'life'?
The difference between a corpse and person.

-> the condition that distinguishes animals and plants from inorganic matter, including the capacity for growth, reproduction, functional activity, and continual change preceding death

So not consciousness, many things are alive that I doubt anyone would attribute consciousness to
- Self generated growth
- Reproduction
- some kind of motion/activity
- Change

Hence my earlier statement that the basis for this conversation is very different if the question is

- Is there life elsewhere in the universe = absolutely, mathematically impossible that there isn't

The problem is it might all be bacteria/moss/simple organisms or even normal animals with no evolution of the level of intelligence required for leaving a planet.

oh man .. Rogan .. he does get some interesting guests, but also gets the whack jobs ..

Tries to hide the right wing nuttery part of himself, but it comes out if you watch enough of his stuff.

Ratcliffe is a lying taco too. I'm not saying he's lying here but usually when his mouth moves he's lying.

Planet Earth is ‘alive’ in my opinion.
