Harry Kane MBE

Your constant rants are just getting tiresome now. Give it a fudging rest mate.

So someone is not allowed to express a different opinion to you on a subject, on a message board.

Hmm

I don't feel the need to dominate others and have them bend to my will.

Keeping him if he wanted to leave would send out a message to others failure would not be tolerated. On the other hand if he wanted to stay I would happily sell as I think his injuries will take a cumulative effect and we can get a premium for him when money will clearly be tight for a few years.

I pray at no church not even the church of kane.

We certainly need to get rid of the likes of Sissoko, Sanchez and Alderweireld plus upgrade on the likes of Lamela and Moura but selling our star player to fund that rebuild seems too big a risk to me.

Aside from how badly we did with the Bale money, seeing how much Madrid have diminished since they decided to reallocate Ronaldo’s wages also gives me cause for concern.

An understandable point of view. If we get transfer fees for any of the players you listed great. I doubt we will get much of anything for any of them.

Surely we could shift that lot for enough to purchase a couple of prodigious Championship players... if we can find the next Dele, Walker, Defoe, Maddison or Grealish then they’d not only improve first team squad but also resolve our homegrown issues whilst lowering the wage bill.

The prospect of playing in same club team as the England captain should also help attract the best upcoming talent to sign for Spurs.

I support your right to criticise any player you see fit to, even Kane.

I don't agree with you regarding keeping him even if wants to leave though. That would be cutting off our nose to spite our face. There is a diminishing timeline in which to maximise the money we get for any player, especially Kane.

I'm not advocating selling him but if he decides he's not signing an extension at the point at which it makes sense for us to extend his deal then it's better for us to sell, rather than just holding on to him out of some sort of misguided pride and eventually losing him for nothing.

Either way we would need to replace him and the effect he has on the team and makes more sense doing that with money gained from his sell than it does from clubs coffers.

Selling Kane would be madness, if he wants to go fair enough.

The are some stunning talents in the championship. Don't get the appeal about the England captain thing, does the captain get input on who the manager calls up to squad? Or is the 1990s and the Captain gets a column in the sun and a slot on Saint and Greavsie.

Then again I dont really get international football. It injuries to many of my players which displeases me, plus being English the is the whole any form of national identity is racist angle.

I can't see him wanting to drop down to the French league just yet - I'm convinced he's still looking to break Greaves record before leaving

He'll need to stay with us for another two full seasons after this to do that, injuries depending. Can't see him prioritising that ahead of winning trophies. We aren't even going to be in Europe next season at this rate.

Tend to agree, Kane is a top player who deserves to win top trophys and ending up as our top goal scorer is not going to satisfy him.
