The transfer thread

Not saying you are wrong but i do not see him (Ings) taking that chance on. He is what 29? now and i would imagine he would want to be first choice wherever he goes.

depends how much he goes for, I’m not sure it will be 40 million with a year left and no chance of him signing a new deal?

I think he would be first choice -

Hojberg Dombele
Kane
Son ings berg

something like this -

or could have them as a front 3 interchanging

Interesting and it could work, i guess we will see.

No chance under this manager who has a maximum of 3 attacking players in the side.

Kane may dropping in to that area at times but it's not going to be his starting position any time soon

I’d love us to get Bissouma from Brighton. He’s quality.

DO you believe that he's good enough to start regularly enough for us if we have Hojbjerg, Ndombele, GLC and Skipp? If he's not good enough to start regularly ahead of them, then he wouldnt be worth us signing given the HG issue

Again, we need to remember that just ONE of our fist choice 11 is home grown. Therefore, unless we start to sign a lot of first choice English players, a lot of our second 11 players need to be HG

I see Wolves have got Willian Jose on loan - we were trying to get him last year. Guess we'll see whether we dodged a bullet or should have pushed harder

Alain Saint-Maximin would be good signing this summer, replacing one of our non-performing forwards (Bale, Lamela, Moura). Would be a very good alternative to Son and Bergwijn off the bench. Only 23 years old so fits our profile too. Only questions is how much Saudi Sportswashing Machine would want for him....

Dier is his hoe grown and starts every game
I also think Doherty will push on next season for us and he is his grown for the league (not for Europe)
I also think we will replace one of the so called attackers with Gray from Leicester in the summer

He's very good. His passing is sublime, and he works his donkey ass off. He moves deep to receive the ball, can dribble past players with ease, and deliver exquisite passes. I'd say last year, when he played almost every game, he was close to peak Eriksen, and he's still only 21.

they like donkeys..

Dier definitely isn't HG. I agree that Gray could come in, but we're starting from a negative position for European competitions (ie having to not register players) so we're got some work to do. Also need to replace Hart....but obviously with a HG keeper in order to not make the situation worse still

But the welsh lads are gone grown in our league all be it neither is a first 11 starter currently

This is the crux of our problem with non HG players. Given we don't have loads of HG players in our best 11, then a lot of our back-up players do need to be HG. Its that last point where we're failing
