The Official 2020/21 Premier League Thread

I wonder what odds you could have got for Liverpool to not make top 4. No one would have taken that bet would they?

We have to beat them next week to stay in the title fight I think, but top 4 is slightly more open now. Can't see both Leicester and United carrying on in their current form throughout the rest of the season.

No one is capable of going on a consistent run in this league other than City, I think they will end up winning the league by a good few points - especially now they’ve got their defence sorted....

Agreed. We could all do with City hitting a sticky patch again. For the first time ever, a Pep team is starting to look ominously solid. Fingers crossed it doesn’t keep going.

It’s way too early to say this but I’ll let my anti-Liverpool bias take over - is it possible Klopp has Pochettino’d the Dippers and they’re on an irreversible downward spiral?

United I think may have a wobble. Leicester tho they are good going forward and organised at the back think they’ll just go about their business steadily and will be in the top 4 mix.

The Liverpool players were always going to burn out at some point given their high intensity play. Hopefully this is just the beginning.

Their defence has been great although yesterday was really stretched but I still don’t think their as good as they should be up front
They have had a lot of 1 nils
That’s a great sign but also a perilous one
And agueros out again

United’s luck has been unreal
Deflections from winners and keeper dropping the ball at their feet
Yes very fortunate , Pogba scoring screamers etc . He’ll regress to mediocre Pogba when he don’t get a move. Only turns up when the transfer window is open .

Think KDB is out for a few weeks as well, but expected back in time for us

Any reason to think Rodgers has solved his end of season drift syndrome?
