The Fight to Qualify for the European Conference League 2020/21

Surely there must be another one of our run in opponents also having a week off - why not try the sensible option and move a game forward?

I'm not sure its a disaster. We have a tough run coming up starting with Liverpool so a few extra days break in advance isnt the end of the world

It’s why it’s frustrating

It’s really frustrating but all clubs have had bad runs or are having bad runs. The only thing is, other clubs bad runs feel like bad runs of form and ours feels a bit like we’re being limited by the manager’s tactics. But maybe I’m saying that because I’m so close to our games and results.

We could do with City having another run of dodgy results...

Ours feel like we’re making mistakes when we really shouldn’t
We haven’t conceded worldies have we

In my view, City and Liverpool would finish above us 9 times out of 10 if you played this season repeated times from here. I'm therefore not really that bothered by their results - Man U, Leicester, Everton and Chelsea are greater threats to us IMO

You’re not a proper Spurs fan.

When the inevitable self destruction comes, the disappointment that is the very essence of supporting Tottenham Hotspur is more acute the higher your hopes were to start with.

Im hoping for a league title. fudge it, I’m expecting a league title and we’re gonna win it by 10 points minimum.

Only the West Ham equalizer was a one in a million shot, IIRC. There's been one or two masterclass goalkeeping performances too, I think.
Yep
Every one pretty much has been avoidable
Yet we have been scoring too notch goals a lot of the time (and all goals are avoidable)

Vardy out for a few weeks...

..and KdB is too

I dont really view Emirates Marketing Project as our rivals, but this does narrow the gap between them and us for a few weeks. Leicester might also have to change the way they play til Steptoe is back
I thought Vardy had and issue when I've watched Leicester in recent weeks. It gives them something to deal with as they have looked very settled with Tielemanns Maddison Albrighton all looking in solid form plus they've landed on their feet defensively in that the players that came in to replace their various injured defenders have all proved themselves to be more than decent.

The amount of residual hope still around because we were top of the league briefly is ridiculous.

We are P18 W9 D6 L3 Pts 33
On December 16th 1996 under Gerry Francis we had the exact same record. No one was thinking of a title. We finished 8th that year.

Just because we think we have signed a 'pact' to watch horrible football doesn't mean we will win something.

Our next 5 are Liverpool (h), Brighton (a), Chelsea (h), West Brom (h), Emirates Marketing Project (a).
We are more likely to be fighting to get into the Europa again than any title.
