Christian Eriksen

Why would 125k a week be a problem? It's just a tiny bit more than he had when he left.

fair point, although he's not justified an increase has he, he was playing badly when we sold him, he played badly at Inter, we'd be doing him a favour giving him another chance

depends what Barca and Madrid are offering him I guess

Didn't Jose mention during that period that we told him we were prepared to match what he was offered elsewhere for him to stay, But told him if he was determined to go then he could? Although I agree, Levy would definitely try take him back on less

the video clips are doing the rounds of a conversation between he, Jose and Levy, and Levy says just that

It was in the All or Nothing doc.

An in form and motivated Eriksen at Spurs this season, and we would've been top now IMO. His work rate and decisive passing would be perfect for a Mourinho side.

I highly doubt we will get that same effect from a half season loan now though.

He has no future at Inter, first it was Conte, now other people in the club are saying "he doesn't fit the system". Inter are also in a bad spot re money.

If he comes back, it's shop window time, either for us or whoever is next.

The issue with Eriksen is he lost his drive/motivation (not effort, but the commitment and perhaps love for the game), he needs to mentally shake off the place he got himself into.

Low risk loan could make sense, but he's got to eat a little humble pie, reset himself and commit to playing his best.

No secret i wasn't CEs biggest fan when he was here but there's no downside to getting him back for the remainder of the season - him and Skipp brought in covers a lot of bases for minimal outlay - defensive and creative midfield bolstered where at the moment we are short outside of the first choice
