The Official 2020/21 Premier League Thread

Chelsea very very lucky. Only saw last 20 mins when Fulham had been down to 10 for a while but Chelsea didn't dominate by any stretch of the imagination. Werner also missed a ridiculous sitter in the last minute. And he didn't just miss it but missed by a distance. Sissoko would have gotten closer.

What do Leicester think they're doing attacking all the way through the second half when they're already winning?

Both these teams play better football than we do don't they? I thought the same when I watched Man U v Villa a couple weeks ago

Very sad state of affairs

It was a sobering half of football to watch

Thankfully I only saw the last 10 mins! It's horrible to think of bang average clubs like Leicester, Southampton and Villa playing better football than us

I'd like to think that I take the long-term view, but I'm increasingly thinking that if I had the choice, I'd change Jose now. I just don't see how he succeeds at Spurs with his brand of football...so better to change sooner rather than have another year or so or turgid rubbish

Agreed - but maybe best to not let my Mourinho moaning seep in to another thread

I thought that when I was writing the above, but its therapeutic to type it. We all need various forms of counseling/support with the crap which we have to sit through

I'd never want Liverpool to win, no matter who they're playing, but the United hype is getting a bit much.

The United fans I know are okay. Think they know they’re punching above their weight. The Liverpool fans I know are absolutely insufferable. If we weren’t on the fringes of the title race, I’d be United all the way. I guess for today I’ll hope for a boring draw with a few injuries and red cards. And maybe a sinkhole to open under Anfield and rid us of some of that poverty ridden dump.
