Thats unfair on @scaramanga he is not the villain that some make him out to be.
He is too far to the right for my tastes and I disagree with almost all he says about faith/relligion but in general he is a decent guy even if he tries to hide that most of the time

Doesn't the UN have to act on confirmed genocide?
It's a long time ago now but I'm sure I remember them weaselling out of action in Rwanda by using the term "genocidal actions" instead of actual "genocide" that would have bound them to act.

I don't think the UN has acknowledged it as genocide. Considering that Iran has just been elected to head the UN Women's Rights Commission, I wouldn't hold my breath about progress with this organisation.

Rwanda is a horrible story. Philip Gourevitch wrote the definitive account of it. The UN -via the US- simply did not send what was requested and could've saved a million lives. Clinton will forever have blood on his hands...
