I remember watching that No. 1 goal in that video compilation live on Channel 4 back in the day. A remarkable effort.

This is the same man who stayed with Juve when they were forcibly relegated, and when asked why, responded 'because a gentleman never leaves an Old Lady.'

Class indeed. Levy, levy, sign him up! :D

I've never heard this. That is fudging amazing.

Genius of a player, and from what I have read there, he is a dying breed of gentlmen in the game.

Let's not sign him and ruin what Is great memories of a great player.

I think you are looking at a one-club man there, I know that he started with a smaller team for a while but I think he looks like someone who will quit at the top.
"I will always be one of you" - WOW! I remember him being a star player in the earlier years of the Champions League, such a long and historic career. His letter was true class.

Ledley's the closest we have, his career won't have the drama but he's always been loved here. It looks like the end for him, but I just hope the new manager lets him bring the curtains down with a bit of dignity. Could do worse for a defensive coach.

Isnt Ledley like due a testimonial or something? He has def been around for more than ten years right

Brilliant footballer and one of the best of his generation. His honours and achievements are up there

There are some great one-club players in italian football coming to the end of thier careers. First Maldini, now Del Piero, Totti will soon follow

I took the missus for an Easter weekend in Italy April 2000 whilst there we took in the Juve v Fiorentina Game.
The football on the day was not the technically brilliant Italian Style that I was expecting both Zidane and Davids could not pass a ball straight five yards, it was poor.
Then on 44 Minutes PENALTY up steps Del Piero cool as a cucumber, Juve 1-0 Firentina.
The biggest cheer of the day was when the Juve fans got a massive firework into the other lot sent them a runnin, total madness I tell you.
