- Buying Willian
- Still having Ozil on one of the highes wages in league without a squad number
- ex player as manager with zero experience
- 15th in league with one goal in open play for about 5 games or something like that

The media would be dances on our fudging grave ..

I literally heard a pundit yesterday, Arteta is the right man for job and he needs another 2 windows??? wtf?
 
Seems harsh after last night but I'd imagine the decision was taken well before that. Feels like a very harsh decision but time will tell if the owners were right or wrong. For instance, I thought Nigel Adkins being sacked by Southampton was disgraceful but it turned into a great decision if a very hard one.

You’re right, it was more I think that hassenhuttl is a possible candidate if they want to try and regain some indentity using the players they have, although having a few older heads on big money may be difficult to get inside for a less experienced coach.
Christmas period is a always a funny one, in the space of a few weeks you can turn your season around completely (both ways!). January looks like a nice run of games if he is still there, or to give a new manager a reasonable opportunity to get the benefit. As you say that would require planning ahead though!
