Cheatski are still scum

Only a few weeks ago their amount of goal scorers was seen as a strength

Now everyone has realised it means they don’t have a real goal scorer and their top scorer in the league (joint) is a CB!!!

guess they can’t buy a striker to save their lives

Well, Lampard clearly does not understand what a striker is, because he keeps playing one of them as a winger. Werner has never been, and never will be a winger. He's got poor ball control, and absolutely no vision, and he does not track back beyond the half way line.

99% of the time Werner is walking along with his stupid short steps, looking at his shoes.
But he only works centrally, and even there, his poor ball control means he just fires at sight, and misses a lot.
He'll score a few, but he needs an awful lot of chances.

Yeah agree with all of this

After a few matches of seeing this, I really do wonder what Lampard's thinking is here. It's a deliberate decision. But yet to reap positive outcome.

Werner played out wide for Leipzig all the time and scored loads of goals there.. To claim otherwise is a total nonsense.

He's a foreign player adjusting to a new league and shy on confidence in front of goal. He'll do fine. So much typical, flimflam, revisionist overanalysis going on.

They're humans.

He did not play loads of games out wide. What he does is move wide to receive the ball, and carry it or pass it centrally, and then switch position/opposite run with another attacker.
Similarly, he also drifts wide if a full back leaves his position, so he can take advantage of the open space.
But Lampard plays him as an out an out winger. That's something completely different. Their best winger, hudson-odoi, mostly starts on the bench, but often delivers when coming on...

Werner is comparable to Vardy, only with worse ball control and finishing ability, and much worse vision and ability/will to play in team mates.
